Alena Murang EP Launch

I don't even know how to start this blog post hahaha.. So yea being missing in blog for so long and also clicking shutter on my camera, I took the opportunity to join Robin for Alena Murang EP launch yesterday at Timbre. I gonna be honest I don't know her at all. I just wanna tagged along for photography. But of course, in the same time I can enjoy live performance so why not kill two bird with a stone right?

So here I present, Alena Murang! A very talented Sarawakian who can play Sape, which is a lute instrument from Borneo traditionally only played by men. She can do art too beside music!

The crowds that came to support her EP launched were insane too. She was really blessed and had a good start for her career. I do believe our local band need more exposure and support from us or else, who gonna be supporting them? Oh did I forgot to mentioned she had great smile on her whole performance? Aww that's truly a plus point for her :D

Thumb up for the good performance on the evening. It has been time since I am on such scene and it really sparked me that I should join more and shoot more. Afterall this is one of the things I enjoy doing. Cross finger, hope I able to commit it.

Surpriseeeee!! After almost 10 month..for the first time i relogin to my blogger. The sign is too strong that I am giving up blogging. Look. The post is getting lesser and lesser as times move. Everything are in motion. Time, life so does my age. My 10-7 daily job is not idealistic for blogger yet, I am not complaining. This is adulthood that everyone have to face. Making decision, choosing what to move on together and start losing something used to important for them.

So why am I writting this post when I said I gave up blogging? Let's say it is just some hangat hangat tahi ayam I wanna do once in a while. I feel like writing sometimes. I got Dayre. But I started to get lazy writting that on mobile phone as time passed because once i chuck in myself to bed I am just on reading mode when open Dayre. Well maybe once in a while I wrote. Facebook? No longer something I'll write since whatever I wrote there will be judged. Yes I can't pls everyone in this world yet I don't want to cause any unnecessarily debate. Instagram? Instagram story? Yeap still alive. Do follow me ok?

Yeap so this is current me now. Don't worry I don't hate my life. I am blessed in this journey for meeting so many peoples, doing what I can do, enjoying my life to fullest (maybe) and slowly making my own dream come true. I am a slow started but once a momentum push in I knew I'll take whatever I can to achieve it. LOL

So yea that's all for this crappy post. I don't even know what's the purpose and contents of this post. Just feel like writing out of sudden LOL

Oh wait I got some post coming up next. YAY!! No. My blog not reviving. Just rare occurrence.

Jackieloi x Taiwan x XiMenDing

Oh gosh it is end of November! I have not been blogging any single post for this month. Apology! Life and work got me badly! Thankfully the routine was broken last week where finally the long awaiting company trip is here! This marked my first trip ever with my colleagues and our destination was Taiwan for 8 days 7 nights. Yup awesome! I got the opportunity to loan Olympus EM5 mark II, 8mm f1.8 and also 25mm F1.8 from Olympus on top of my own Olympus EM1. Yea I brought twi cameras for my trip. Why not? They are small and light. Gear up with 25mm, I took the chance to make a quick street shoot before resume the trip with my colleagues at XiMenDing.

Man, Taiwan sure had alot night market. I might get sick walking on it every night but photo opportunity are everywhere! If I would come alone or with shutter therapist gang, I bet we will be clicking the shutters none stop.

I admit wasn't hardworking enough to click more shutters on the street when I had the chance. I was really exhausted from daily tour and foods in night market so tempting that I just choose to give up clicking the shutter XD

Nevertheless, it was a fun trips and I'll be blogging it properly in separate post in my next post. Hope it won't take long.

Sunny Garden Restaurant @ PV128, Setapal

I know I have not been writing about foods in my blog for long. Heck, I don't even update my blog as much as I used to be. Life is busy. So do check out me on other social media k? :P

Nevertheless, this flashy signage has been grabbing my attention since last week. What's make ir worst was it was so flashy that I couldn't even read the shop name until today, when I decided to give it a try. So yea, Sunny Garden that located in PV128. I heard they have awesome Gyoza and seafood.

On quick look, the shop is selling authentic foods from china. It doesn't have any pork as well and the shop is Halal despite doesn't have any sign of Jakim cert. Surprisingly the manager is a Muslim from Beijing who speak mandarin with us.

So I ordered Mutton Kuan Xin Noodles and deary took the Spicy Minced Meat Vermicelli (Rice Noodles). I try to have a quick google of what is Kuan Xin noodle (宽心面) but it doesn't shown any result unless... I know Chinese LOL.. But yea with limited knowledge on chinese, I found that Kuan Xin noodle is made from bean and is popular mostly in Northen China area - Shānxī lǚliáng (山西吕梁) and Shǎn běi (陕北). Of course if you guys know more about this noodle, feel free to comment below :D

* Spicy Minced Meat Vermicelli RM10 *

The spiciness from this noodle was from pepper and it is slightly similar to bone soup. Oh did I mentioned it is beef? The meat is so soft that as if it melt on your mouth once it entered. It is awesome! The portion is too big for my deary too.

* Mutton Kuan Xin Noodle RM10 *

As for myself, the mutton has great texture and chewy too. The Kuan Xi Noodle (if the noodle is what I think it is) looks like a super thicker version than Pan Mee. It also looks like 刀削面 (knives sliced noodle), so I am not really sure which is it :P Nevertheless, it is awesome!

* Mutton & Spring Onion, Beef & Celery and Squash & Egg Gyoza under one plate *

Too used to eating pork Gyoza and this time around this Gyoza is special for me since it has both beef and mutton. Not to mentioned the Gyoza is slightly juicy inside. Worth giving it a try since Rm15 for 16 pieces is not expensive. Unfortunately, this is the only portion they offered. Oh did I mentioned that you actually can mixed the Gyoza in your plate as long as it cost the same price?

More or less, I'll consider this shop as hidden gem. It just opened not long in here and I felt it has potential. The price is affordable, drinks are free and foods are authentic. Beside noodles, they have rice too or you can try order dishes too.

Milky Way at Cameron Highland

A little bit late post due to some reason. Nevertheless, it is my first experience shooting Milky Way. Thanks for the PJ Photography Club organizing this and the invite from Robin. I always wonder how we able to see the stars with naked eye. Well I know must away from city light pollution but where? So yea Cameron Highland is one of the spot given the right time and date to spot on the Milky Way. If you guys curious how to shoot Milky Way, here I did a video on it.

of Allianz Foodie Hunt, Team Beanbag and my Birthday

Team Beanbag assemble! Ok this time around Brian wasn't around with us but Carolyn is on board! We are going to join Allianz treasure hunt again this year where the main theme is about foods! Talk about foods, Malaysian must be one of the best place to have awesome foods around. As for us, Team Beanbag, nothing beat our beloved coffee and waffles from Standing Theory, SS2.

Olympus OM-D E-M 10 Mark II Hands On Review

As you all know, Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II just recently launched to the world and stock already available in our local shore. Whacking RM 3399 (with 14-42mm EZ lens) and RM 2699 (body only) retails price, this beast is something shouldn't been overlook by fans of small but powerful system camera. Here my hands on review video of the camera.

Notice I did not mentioned anything about image quality on the camera? For me I felt Olympus image quality is no longer questionable. Plus, a tonnes of review and comparison are available out there. Our Dygadget channel aim for simple review that even layman would understand what does it mean. But of course you're always welcome to asked me more about the camera by commenting the video :)

Sadly I only have a short terms moment with the OM-D EM-10 II. There are stuff I wish to used more to proof is it relevant to use such as the S-OVF and also AF TArgetting Pad.

Fun with Olympus M.Zuiko 8mm F1.8 Fisheye PRO Lens

If you ask me to pick between fisheye and wide angle lens, I will always got for wide angle lens anytime. But I do aware the fisheye do have it own place and unique. Feeling to challenge myself, I loaned an unit from Olympus and intended to use the one and only lens I had at birthday dinner with my colleagues.

Sangokuden Premiums: 12 Mirisha Weapons

I have been huge fans of Sangokuden series in Gundam because it is one of the Gunpla I had when I was young. Plus all the characters are mixture of Gundam and famous characters from the Three Kingdom. I was offered a very tempting price for the 12 Mirisha weapons last week and without hesitating, I grab it. YYAYYYY!!

HGBF Gundam Tryon 3 custom build

If you asked what have I been busy with recently, the answer is this! Gundam Tryon 3! I been teasing few images in my Instagram and after almost 4 weeks of effort, finally I done. My very first custom build Gundam. The things the drive me to custom this kits because I think Tryon is unique Gundam. It is a Gundam I felt able to push the limit more since it is combination of 3 machine into 1 and it is expandable. For example my custom I allow Tryon to become something else by combining 5 machine instead, but keeping the base. Of course, I using limited kits I has to custom it, I did not build enough HG to know what else part I can use. Maybe in future when MG Tryon 3 is release :P

Singapore - of Gundam Dock, Gardens by the bay and Sands SkyPark

Looking at my blog. Wow I actually don't have a single post for June. Guess life completely taken over me and I actually prefer sharing my stuff over other social media platform now. I just felt like blogging is no longer like last time where you can actually crap about your daily life in a single post. Nop. Nevertheless, I went to Singapore last weekend! YES! Finally I can travel too! Eventhough it is nearby, it doesn't matter for me! Just a change of environment, breath new air and I felt completely brand new.

Olympus 7-14mm f2.8 @ Petaling Street

If I only limit myself bringing 2 lenses to travel or everywhere I want, an Ultra Wide Angle lens is on the list for sure. Another one probably 45mm f1.8 will be cool. Yes I used to have an Ultra Wide Anle lens, Panasonic 7-14mm f4. But I sold it not long after my Hong Kong trip due to unable to meet my expectation. Don't get me wrong, the lens is excellent and I love it so much! It just failed me on low light with the 90% rate on unable to focus. Well, those day when I still using Olympus E-P3.

Legend BB Strike Ryubi Gundam

While I am working on my MG Astray Blue Frame D, I am running on SD Gundam as well. For those who dunno, I actually started off Gunpla with SD Gundam, those from BB Senshi Sangokuden. In addition, I actually love Strike so much recently. So, what's make perfect Gunpla for me? Yes SD Gundam, Strike Gundam, BB Senshi Sangokuden character, combine all this made into Strike Ryubi! Yayy!!

A day out with Xiaomi Yi Camera

So, I got something new for myself. Something completely new and strange to me. Yes, an action camera! Not GoPro, but Xiaomi Yi Camera. It cost only 399 CNY (around $64) which about 1/3 of GoPro price. So why not?

Painting Model Kits

While I am working on MG Blue Frame Astray D, there is another model kits I am working ono with priority equal to the Blue Frame. It is an SD kits, Unicorn Phenex. I believe whoever own the kits, or most of Bandai Gundam kits will know that most of the time, they screw up the gold color the most. Hence, I decided to paint my Phenex into a proper gold. Here begin my journey first time using air brush and paint my model kits.

If I would confess the heaviest sin I ever had, it will be not watching porn nor spending on camera gear. It is spending on Gunpla. I used to collect alot SD Gundam when I was young before mum decided to threw it all when shifting house. Since then, I couldn't afford a single Gunpla at all because I am just a fucking poor student. I guess there are where all the revenge came. I started collect back last 2 years- started off straight with MG Gundam. I am pretty sure some of you who followed my Instagram seen some of my Gunpla building recently. Been thinking alot and I feel like sharing my Gunpla building in my blog as well.

Ultraman Live Show 2015 @ Genting

Ok I haven't been forgetting about my blog. Seriously I didn't have any interesting contents to blog. Life is back to the cycle where eat.sleep.work repeat. Ah once in a while on weekend got play board game as well or doing Gundam building LOL... Nevertheless, March was a fruitfully months for me. My whole weekend was occupied with meeting friends, Dota 2 Major All Stars competition and of course, the long awaiting Ultraman Live in Genting!! OMG can u fucking imagine the whole crew and production of Ultraman came all the way to here for LIVE performance!!?? Not the mentioned the suits they wore are real production suits!! OMG OMG OMG!!
