Bloggers Gathering : CNY Fatt Ah!

It have been long time since i having gathering and meet new bloggers. Oh yes, over this past 3 years in Nuffnang community i have met alot great friends along ;) U guys know who u r *wink wink*. Nevertheless, i am attending the gathering with others blogger to have CNY dinner and Yee Sang session on last friday, Sri Melaka @ One Utama.

There were more than 30 (i think) bloggers attending the dinner ranging from half of them i know who is it and another half totally clueless on their identity until now LOL... Wow over 30 bloggers! Is totally madness ;P we're divided into 4 tables. Which mean there gonna be 4 Yee Sang LOL wtf

Ordered Nyonya Fried Rice for myself and Fried Kuey Teow by YY. Basically i felt their food super oily..d moment i ate 2 spoon felt like stop eating it. However i need to force myself eat coz i am too hungry. Other than that, their food are quite descent.

Lastly the highlight of the dinner of coz none other than Yee Sang.

It cost RM60/"mai". Ouch, totally kena robbed. But who care, as long as we enjoying it rite?

Finally a group pic of all of us. Somehow the moment v took group photo remind me past gathering i had with others friends i met when i am still new to Nuffnang. It has been 3 years since v know each others. Life still goes on and everything goes well to all of u ;)

Garden Lifestyle Store & Cafe @ Mid Valley

Just realize a new Garden Lifestyle Store & Cafe opening in Mid Valley after been long time not there. It was located on 1st floor, after u cross the bridge from Garden Mall to Mid Valley. Feeling curious and attracted by the decoration there, grab YY to have dinner there after Homecoming movie on yesterday.

The decoration was very awesomely made in my point of view. It had the peaceful, relaxing and harmony feel. Not to mention most of it made from white and green color. It would b romantic as well when some1 playing piano in the "cage" there ;P

And this is what we get on that day -

My favourite Teriyaki Chicken! I alwiz ordered alot to eat when i was in TAO. For this Teriyaki Chicken, it served together with mashed potato and Teriyaki sauce! It is totally perfect :D though d portion is too small for that price :( For the Salmon Fish, it taste like usual..nth special though heh ;P..i am not fish lover anyway

Nevertheless, it is nice place to hang around with ur friends or lover :)

Homecoming <笑着回家> Movie

Just back from movie wif my love one at Mid Valley. Watch Homecoming <笑着回家> movie. yea i know i am late for this movie but better than never rite? ;P like Justin Bieber said, Never Said Never..wtf

HOMECOMING is a series of stories about family and what it means to go home. The characters, and their families in the stories, come from a diverse range of generations, races and social backgrounds. These characters are (or become) interlinked, either through blood, friendship or geography.

I would said is an awesome movie :D A story that revolved 3 main situation into one. It also shown that the important of chinese reunion dinner during chinese new year eve. Besides, i love ah Niu character in this movie. His acting is not bad ;D Love Mark Lee canto-mandarin dialect as well in the movie..is total entertaining ;D

Catch this movie in cinema now, it wun disappointed u ;)

Shaolin <新少林寺> Movie

Woops! Just back from Shaolin <新少林寺> movie with friends at mid valley

China is plunged into strife as feuding warlords try to expand their power by warring over neighboring lands. Fuelled by his success on the battlefield, young and arrogant Hao Jie sneers at Shaolin's masters when he beats one of them in a duel. But pride comes before a fall. When his own family is wiped out by a rival warlord, Hao is forced to take refuge with the monks. It has been time since i watch chinese action movie. But dun b surprise that this movie actually doesnt pack much shaolin action. I guess director focus most on story as in the story actually abit draggy and long. Storyline abit predictable, i knew nicholas gonna betray andy LOL..Action wise was good enough though not much :) Oh dun b surprise that Jackie wasn't playing main role in here. Actually his role not that important anyway LOL

Catch up this movie at cinema since it release today ;)

The Green Hornet Premier Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang, i get to watch The Green Hornet Premier Screening 4 days before it official release in Malaysia. Brought Suefei as my guest ;)

Based on the iconic radio serial, comic book and television show of the same name, this latest superhero movie adaptation chronicles the adventures of Britt Reid (Seth Rogen), a debonair newspaper publisher by day and a crime-fighting masked hero at night, along with his sidekick, Kato (Jay Chou).

Woops! Look! Is Jay Chou movie! His first movie in Hollywood :D Seriously i am surprise his acting had improved. And his english is not as bad as i expected ;) Overall the movie is pack wif action and comedy. The storyline is pretty descent and quite predictable. Well what do u expect a movie base superhero rite?.

And i love this villain character. He is totally a joker and dumbass in this movie :D

The Green Hornet will be release on 27th Jan on cinema! Catch this movie! U wun regret it ;)

Dog Deserved Better Treatment

Updated X2 : It seem they found the female and male in the video. The female was known as Doreen Loo and male Allan Tan. The poodle belong to Doreen, named Sushi.

As a dog lover, it is heartache to see some bastard threaten their pet like toy :( I believe dog deserved a better treatment. They are still animal, a living organic.

So ppl, pls love ur dog more or u'll get karma in one day or after u go to hell.

It have been more than a year since i photoshoot human as my subject. Been reli busy wif my assignment and become one of the lifeless dude :( However, last few weeks i am given opportunity to photoshoot together wif Mike & Ken. Our subject of coz is Jieyi :) Well, this is my second time photoshoot Jieyi ;D

Wake up in the early morning and rush all d way from Damansara to Sekinchan. Why Sekinchan? coz all of us never been there b4 and their paddy field view was awesome! But i guess we are too excited until forgot to check the harvesting time. Yes u r rite, all the field just had a nice "trim" for their hair :(

Despite of that, nothing gonna stop us from shooting. Thanks the sky was kinda blue but in the same time the sun is killing us. Can feel the madness torture on the model as well. The sun cause most of my pics burn kao kao :(

From paddy field, we moving to sea side. The sea side view is not as awesome as i imagine. It was full wif rocks around. And again, sad, no blue sky towards the sea side :(

Gotta admit this time i din do much composition like i alwiz did (especially rule of third tat i love it so much ;P). In the same time din use any strobist equipment except my own attached SB600 + natural light. Oh in addition, those sky seem so blue thanks to CPL filter borrowed from my friend ;)

Maxis Om Nom Nom Race - Route of Victory!

Om Nom Nom!! I seriously miss this race! It is fun and crazy ;D Courtesy to Nuffnang and Maxis, Team Naan of Mai Business manage participated this race and won 1st runner up! Woops! We are awesome rite? Not to forget thanks to our God of Naan! teehee ;P

The race take starting point at Modesto's Capsquare. Yupz, this gonna b our ending point as well. We required to run into 5 places by the hint given and complete the task within 7 hours in total.

Emcee of the race was Niki Cheong. This gonna be my first time seeing him to speak on stage. Next is the game master from maxis, YC brief us about the race, rules and point system.

Basically, we need to find a marshal by the first clue given using GPS Coordinate. Once we found the marshal, we'll b given a riddle to solved it and the Restaurant name will appear after that. In addition, we were given a template that contain answer for the Marshal and the restaurant location. However by using the template, point will be deducted. We earn point by getting reach the destination, blogging, twitter and facebook. Pretty fair rite?

Each team was provided with a laptop and iPhone for our hunt. Sad to say the laptop and iphone given to us is pretty badly screw up. The laptop was hang like mad. We type few words hang, we click a folder or file hand, not to mention open a browser make the laptop even worst..sigh :( The iphone provided by us cant setup the finder301 apps, no data plan inside and causing us cant use GPS (thanks to God of Naan, Ken iPhone4 never failed us that day).

So by using a 1st GPS Coordinate given by us, we found the marshal at HSBC bank PJ and the restaurant was Strawberry Fields. We are the 4th group reach d location. Pretty good rite? :)

Remember i said d laptop failed us? thanks to tat alot group had overtake us by finish blogging and submit it to the crew and leave while we still struggling with the madness of hang. Thanks to God of Naan again the Strawberry Field was near Jieyi house and we went back to her house to collect her laptop. Yay! but we are left quite behind T__T

Second place was inside Sunway Pyramid, which were totally unexpected. The restaurant was Tarbush. Seriously i pretty love their food here especially the lamb! Though d appearance looks kinda lose d appetite, but dun judge a book by it covers rite? ;) oh btw we're left behind since we're 10th group reach there :(

Third location was take place at Uptown Damansara, HJ Samuri Sate Kajang yo! I totally in love of sate :D and i ate quite alot in there. I bet Ken love it more than me since he can drink the sauce like drinking water..piff wtf..anyway we starting to catch up! We're 7th team that reach the destination ;)

Forth place was abit tricky and hard to find. It was located at Sri Damansara, a place i dun familiar at all. Not to mentioned the riddle given by us is totally kill our eyes. D restaurant name was scale until "mother also kenot recorgnize" - chinese idiom. But i guess i quite genius on that day, i manage to figure out the first 3 words is "THA" and we assuming it is THAI restaurant. Suefei manage to solved it all base on my guidelines and come to the conclusion it is ThaiBase Restaurant. Yay! We're 4th group to reach there since alot group dying solving the riddle ;P

After done wif all 5 location, we actually left 20 min to back to Modesto's Capsquare from Bangsar. Surprise we actually manage to beat the jam and reach there on time ;) There was a individual game given during that time. We need to guess what are the ingredient inside the dish that served to us. Well, a guy who rarely cook like me gonna screw this up. Even my genius-city couldn't help it.
