My Valentine & 6th Anniversary Part 2

Imbas kembali episode sebelum ini... Click here la LOLOLOL

Alright we are suppose to hunt food on One Utama. We had plenty of time but apparently most shop doesn't have plenty of space for us. Everywhere human mountain human sea ahh Oh before that, some photo of us being Derp and Derpina

After looking around One Utama, finally we decided to dine in to Watami! Wee my favourite japanese casual restaurant Struggling alot on what to choose and eat finally we decided to give it a try on the valentine package set A

Here are what we get!

Onsen Tamago Caesar Salad! The pork bacon is nice :D

Sadly no Wafu Pizza in the package . Thus we tried the Mentai Potato Pizza (Pizza topped with Cod Roe & Potato). I still prefer Wafu Pizza for being aromatic but le gf like this too.

Shrimp Tempura This 1 does blow my mind away. I really have no idea how it can be so tasty. Le gf love it so much too. Glad we choose this in the set.

Sukiyaki Korean hot pot with beef in Spicy Broth. Nothing special on this. The beef taste ordinary.

French Fries. It seem they put some herbs on the fries but it still not nice without the sauce. MyBurgerlab fries still nicer.

Salmon Sashimi is the best on that night. Since le gf like fish, this is totally heaven to her. Not to mention Watami actually restock every Thursday. Thus, it was a perfect day to get their Sashimi

Finally dessert! Was so full by d time d dessert arrived Red Bean crepes with Green Tea Ice Cream. Love the ice cream, the quality still there ;) I though Red Bean crepes is crispy but ended up is soft 1 and easily to chew. Nice also!

Overall, my plan A failed. Luckily though of Plan B as well. Thanks Watami for saving my Valentine and did not ruin it like what Six Inch Cafe did to my last christmas

My Valentine & 6th Anniversary Part 1

It has been 6 years with my deary :) Unfortunately for the past 4 year we never had a proper celebration for Valentine & our anniversary since we are having long distance, well sorta. This year around, she gave me 3 present, a food, a statement Tee and also a card. Most are handmade of course.

* The huge present box! *
* The statement Tee *
* Not sure is Banana Chocolate or Chocolate Banana. It melted when I take picture of it... *

I am cracking my head what to do and what to give for her in this special day. Finally I decided a dinner, cooked by me and also a movie, not directed, not written, not film by me but Ah Niu - Wedding Diary II. Since I havent start work on 5th day of CNY also Valentine Day, thus I stay at home at prepared chicken chop for her. In the same time my mind seem keep thinking to throw more stuff in the chicken. Thus, here is what I had.

Marinated chicken chop bought from Jusco (Damn! Now only I know chicken chop cost so cheap), 2 Egg, a packet of hotdog, cheese and also butter.

Being genius me I went to throw the chicken with egg first then sear it. Of course the egg cook very fast and almost burn before my chicken cooked..piff

After a few moment, result and smell seem satisfying :D

Later on I add cheese together and tadaaaa

Not gonna waste the cheese, cook it together with hotdog! :D

In the same time, I prepared some doodle as well to poke into the chicken.

There goes my preparation to cook for the love 1. Done all the work and went out to fetch her from work for movie. Once we reach One Utama, I surprise her with the food I prepare and we ate in the parking. Yay plan success and happy ever after ending

Ok I just lied. The plan pretty failed. Deary was surprise when she knew I cook and also when she saw the doodle. Before eating it, she quickly took her phone and capture both chicken and the doodle (well it never appear in her instagram anyway LOL).. Then as we start eating, we just figure out the chicken inside wasn't cook..still raw...I just had a fuuuuu moment in my life. Thanks god the hot dog still can eat LOL..

so finish our hot dog we went to hunt for food in One Utama before movie...

New Year Penang Trip : Char Koay Teow, Hokkien Mee & Ice Kacang @ Lorong Selamat

Oh mai has been delayed this post like.. 2 month? Too enjoyed my CNY and the happy moment gonna end soon. Nevertheless, this will be my last post of my Penang trip during New Year. After an awesome dim sum breakfast, me & my dear proceed to Lorong Selamat to hunt for the so call famous char koay teow. Unfortunately I did not know which, so I just simply whack one of the shop along the road.

Saw the pretty cool looking uncle char koey teow LOL straight away ordered without hesitation. But the Ice Kacang auntie seem abit lansi ;/

So both me and deary ordered Ice Kacang (since I saw forum said is famous), Char Koay Teow and also Hokkien Mee.

So my opinion, Ice Kacang just ice kacang. Nothing special pifff. Char Koay Teow from this stall pretty spicy and it cost RM7 ;/ Damn expensive huhuhu.. and my colleague told me Lorong Selamat is not the best CKT. Damn! Kota Damansara CKT taste better! Hokkien Mee is nice though.

So that's conclude my makan session in Penang. Sadly alot more place I couldn't explore due to wedding event I had to attend on night time. I wanna try Marshall Burger!!! Hopefully I able to go Penang again within this year. But HK trip still my main priority ;P

Photograph Sher Lynn

Finally! A post that I delayed for almost 2 weeks. Yup it was a random shooting session I wanna do before Chinese New Year came. Ok one of the reason is because I wanna shoot Thean Hou Temple decoration. Second reason is my hand itchy for some shutter spam on human modeling. Thus, Sher Lynn agreed to be my model of the day, together with Ken as one of the photographer too. Check out his blog, he is reviving it haha

The weather on that day was pretty bad. After sunny from mon-sat and my session was on Sunday, the God seem unhappy with me and decided to rain like mofo right before my shooting session. However it seem some magic happened in Thean Hou Temple where the rain pretty minimal and only drizzle. Nothing stop me from continue my shutter spam though I actually feel like give up when on the way to the temple. Unfortunately no blue sky thanks to the rain. But it is fine for me.

Brought my one and only trustworthy camera, baby Zeekon aka Olympus E-P3. Seriously I am very much fond with this baby compare with my hulk-alike DSLR, ok not that I had a DSLR now but I know I will get it back someday. My geekness is killing me day by day. Nevertheless, supposingly able to get my Carl Zeiss lens a day before for this photoshooting session but unfortunately the lens got delayed. With no choice, I lug on with my favorite lens, Olympus 12mm f2, Olympus 14-54mm f2.8-3.5 and also Olympus OM 50mm f1.4. I used Olympus 14-54mm f2.8-3.5 most of the time for this session since the sun is pretty glaring that time and I hardly do manual focus on my Olympus OM 50mm f1.4. Damn wishing I had Electronic Viewfinder mount on my camera.

I did a quick research on model posing and some composition. Thus, tested it out on Sher Lynn on that day. As usual, C&C is welcome :)

Flight Premier Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang I get to catch Flight Premier Screening last night before it release in local cinema.

In this action-packed mystery thriller, Academy Award winner, Denzel Washington stars as Whip Whitaker, a seasoned airline pilot, who miraculously crash lands his plane after a mid-air catastrophe, saving nearly every soul on board. After the crash, Whip is hailed as a hero, but as more is learned, more questions than answers arise as to who or what was really at fault and what really happened on that plane?

The whole movie is very slow pace after the plane incident. Alot dialog, drinking and some sex scene (badly censored) involves. Not to mention drug too. After finish watch the movie, with some deep thinking and analysis, I felt it is pretty inspiring too. For me, the message trying to send across in the movie are obviously do not drink and drug while driving (don't care what shit you're driving). Second, be yourself.

Not really the best movie that everyone could enjoy but I admire on Denzel Washington acting on Whip Whitaker character. His expression is great that almost pull myself into his world. Ok just joking. But it is really great acting with appropriate camera angle as support.

The movie might boring unless, you're the type like me, love to think back and analysis movies to get the meaning.
