The Watch Premier Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang & Churpchurp, I get to watch The Watch screening movie before it release to cinema.

Four everyday suburban guys come together to form a neighborhood watch group, but only as an excuse to escape their humdrum lives one night a week. But when they accidentally discover that their town has become overrun with aliens posing as ordinary suburbanites, they have no choice but to save their neighborhood -- and the world -- from total extermination.

Whenever I saw Ben Stiller movie, I will like "OMG! I must watch this!". Just like Adam Sandler, I do love Ben Stiller acting and his comedy in the movie. Trust me you just gotta relax whenever watching such movie.

Watching overall movie make me feel like this movie is a Alien invasion wannabe, with very cheap looking. However I do love the design of the Alien and their weaknesses location. There are alot plothole in this movie but I do believe, the humors in this film good enough to cover it all. The comedy in this film totally bring to another level.

Storyline pretty direct and expected. Character development is good especially I do love looking how their friendship grow strong - From a neighbour to friends. CG pretty acceptable but of course, don't expect too much high sci-fi effect, this movie is not for that.

Catch this movie in cinema now, it will never disappoint you ;)

Sadako 3D Premier Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang, I get to watch Sadako in 3D before it release in ciname. Not to mention, the screening took place at GSC, Paradigm Mall. Finally been to this "magic" mall for the first time.

Akane is a high school teacher who hears a rumor from her students that there is actual footage on the Internet of someone's suicide. The footage is said to drive anyone who sees it to also commit suicide. Akane does not believe the rumor at first, but when one of her female students dies after viewing the footage, she and her boyfriend Takanori are fatefully drawn into the horror that has been created by the man who appears in the suicide footage, Kashiwada.Kashiwada's intention is to create chaos in the world by bringing back Sadako and the power of her curse. Now Akane has to fight against Sadako and Kashiwada to save the lives of herself and Takanori

I don't always watch Japanese movie unless there is my favourite cast inside. In this movie, Koji Seto (Kurenai Wataru/Kamen Rider Kiva) and Yusuke Yamamoto (Kamishiro Tsurugi/Kamen Rider Sasword) is my fav cast, since both of them are KAMEN RIDER! :P

Storyline pretty direct and expected. Not to mention alot loophole. A horror movie from the beginning suddenly turn to action science fic where those mutated ghost or whatever you called, resemble Zombie from Resident Evil. Akane have the physic power to scream and make all the mirror/glasses shattered, but why not the iPhone?? Not to mention the ghost, Sadako died instantly when the iPhone destroyed.

Overall, I think yes it is pretty scary since everyone who sat same row with me was screaming and shaking all the time. Throughout the whole movie, I keep having this though.... KOJI SETO! WHY YOU NO HENSHIN! WHERE IS KIVAT!! Lol can't help it! Once he is a Kamen Rider, he is forever Rider!

Of course, I don't feel it as good as previous Ring movie. Catch this in cinema with 3D coz the effect quite good especially when the hand and hair come out. There is a after credit scene which kinda pointless.

Katy Perry : Part of Me 3D Premier Screening

Courtesy to Churpchurp, I get to watch Katy Perry : Part of Me in 3D!

A documentary that chronicles Katy Perry's life on and off-stage.

As the summary said, it is a documentary film about Katy Perry before and after she famous. I am not a huge fans of Katy Perry but I do enjoy knowing someone past, not in documentary form. Would prefer this movie was actually film in a movie manner rather than documentary..Not to mention it is not full concert movie like what I expecting.

Other than that, I think this movie actually targeting Katy Perry fans. The documentary talk about how hard her life trying to be successful singer, how her marriage get ruined and yet she manage go through it. I do admire her guts on going through all this shit, thumb up to her :)

Catch this in cinema if you're huge fans of her..or any potential fans to be LOL btw no need go 3D, nothing pop out LOL

Royal Satay Celup @ Damansara Utama

Hey guess what! You no longer need to go Melaka for Satay Celup because there is a new 1 at Damansara Utama! Courtesy to Henry, I am invited for the food review on Royal Satay Celup.

A little story from one of the Rpyal Satay Celup owner, Simone that the reason she opened satay celup is because she and her husband both love to eat satay celup. Isn't it romantic when you manage to achieve your same dream with your love one together? :)

* Feeding the camera before own tummy *

Nevertheless, here are the foods served at Royal Satay Celup. It is RM0.80/stick where the price is comparable with Melaka satay celup. At the moment not muchc hoices but Simone promised they will work on it and introduces more variety in future.

For me, soup sauce or whatever you call that to celup (dip) the satay is very important. The sauce for Royal Satay Celup is not too thick yet too spicy. It just nice enough and suitable for everyone including kids. Their own recipe for the sauce is really good enough to compare with Melaka Satay Celup standard.

* Simone the owner of the shop serving us *

Personally, I love it very much. Fresh ingredient and awesome sauce is what I satisfied. I highly recommended this shop for any satay celup fans. Safe your petrol and hassle to melaka to eat it. Oh and also queuing time.

For more information, you can visit their official website or their Facebook page.

Churpout @ Songket Restaurant

A years ago, i attended Churpchurp first outing, known as Churpout at Mark's Place. This year, Churpout is back! It is at Songket Restaurant and I am given chance to attended this outing together with others churper and buka puasa there. Songket Restaurant located at Jalan Yap Kwan Seng.

* Cute backdrop *
* With Betina *
* May Ying as emcee of the day from Churpchurp *

In addition, we can bring some stuff as donations for the homeless kids. Trying to do some charity, I donated away me and Betina Tamagotchi for the kids. Why? Because I want them to have the awesome childhood and memories like us who born on 80's :P

Since it is buka puasa, we have to waited until 7+ to have our dinner. Here are partially food served at Songket Restaurant. I failed to capture all varieties due to...I am too hungry and wanna eat :P

After finished our dinner, some game section is go on where allow others Churper to interacted with each other and get known them. Winner will have themself the limited edition Churpchurp pendrive and also plushie.

Well it was a fun night and since it is a same night of where Dato Lee Chong Wei facing Lin Dan in Olympic, everyone was actually cheering for him in the restaurant eventhough no TV was shown on that night. This is truely Malaysia harmony that I would love to see every night.

Nevertheless, it was a fun night. If you guys don't know, Churpchurp is planning the biggest Churpout coming September! I am sure it gonna be fun though I actually anticipating some healthy outing like we had last time, fly kite.
