Photosphere for Android

One of the things I am looking forward in ANDROID 4.2 Jelly Bean is the Photosphere function. Unfortunately the features seem only exclusive to stock Android from Google only. Well, not now until Google recently just release Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One Google Edition that running vanilla Android. Somebody manage to extract the Photosphere apk from the phone and tested on few devices. It works of course and I wouldn't miss the opportunity to installed on my HTC One.

Ok I am still not good enough handling it -__- the stitching is bad and still got abit black spot. By right Photosphere can capture total 41 images. Anyway will practice more and gonna use it on my HK trip :D

and some video tutorial LOL

If you wanna know how to get Photosphere to install on your phone, ask me personally in FB or Twitter :) but no guarantee it works on every phone and preferable at least Android 4.1 and above.

Despicable Me 2 3D Premier Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang, I get to watch Despicable Me 2 Premier Screening in 3D!

In summer 2013, get ready for more Minion madness in Despicable Me 2.
Chris Meledandri and his acclaimed filmmaking team create an all-new comedy adventure featuring the return of (former?) super-villain Gru (Steve Carell), his adorable girls, the unpredictably hilarious Minions...and a host of new and outrageously funny characters.

BABABABABABABANANA! That's the first teaser release by Illumination Entertainment which successfully excite alot audiences. Who don't love minions isn't? Unless you are someone who always use logic in your mind, yea you gotta hate them because they might sound annoying. Oh well, animation are always meant for children and entertainment anyway ;)

To be honest I been anticipating this movie very long but I guess after last night watch, I still prefer the first movie. The 2nd movie is lack of solid storyline and also moral value. Plothole here and there as well but it is forgivable. Honestly, 70% of the movie make me laugh are causes my Minions. Try take out Minions screen time in the movie, I am sure the movie is plain boring. Most of the exciting parts are shown in trailer, make the storyline more predictable.

Nevertheless, it is great movie to catch with and had a great laugh. I wouldn't mind watch again just to see Minions in action. Of course, there will be movie special dedicated for Minions only coming end of next year! Wuuchaaa!

There deary with Dave, Stuart and Kevin ;)

The Heat Premier Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang, I get to watch The heat premier screening before it release in cinema.

Uptight FBI Special Agent Sarah Ashburn (Sandra Bullock) and foul-mouthed Boston cop Shannon Mullins (Melissa McCarthy) couldn't be more incompatible. But when they join forces to bring down a ruthless drug lord, they become the last thing anyone expected buddies. From Paul Feig, director of “Bridesmaids.”

Honestly, nothing much to shout on the movie. The story line pretty much mediocre since the format has been reused for uncountable times. I hardly find myself enjoy the movie at the beginning but somehow middle of the show it managed to attracted me and I admit, I laugh on those jokes.

Nothing much to shout on character performances. The character development is good and acting convincing enough. Melissa McCarthy did a good job as foul languages speaker. Guess she gonna stick with that kind character for a while..i guess ok?

Overall, I do enjoy the movie and had a great laugh last night.

Monster University Premier Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang, I get to watch Monster University before it release on cinema!

  • Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends. Screaming with laughter and fun, “Monsters University” is directed by Dan Scanlon (“Cars,” “Mater and the Ghostlight,” “Tracy”) and produced by Kori Rae (“Up,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.”).

Oh btw we watch this in MBO Citta Mall, hall 1 and to my surprise the cinema is super nice and unique! The seats all are couple seats. I was informed that the cinema screen resolution are 4k and i believe so since the color are very vivid and sharp on screen! Not to mention the sound system are badass and good enough to create vibration on our seats. I wouldn't mind return the hall again for another movie next time :D

Never watch the first one but after watching this, I am tempted to watch the 1st movie :P Nevertheless, Monster University are interesting since we get to see a bunch of difference monster and they are having life similar to us, attending class. Not to mention difference type of major as well. Great story telling, great character development and great friendship displayed in this prequel. I admit it is still predictable but still, awesome ;)

I don't think I got any major complain on this movie. I enjoy it very much. It is a type of lively cartoon I wouldn't mind to watch again.

Catch this on cinema now. I am sure your kids will like it too ;)

World War Z 3D Premier Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang, I get to watch World War Z Premier Screening in 3D. Unfortunately the 3D doesn't make much difference in terms of depth and I still hate the glass for not being sharp. Rather watch in 2D though..

The story revolves around United Nations employee Gerry Lane (Pitt), who traverses the world in a race against time to stop a pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatening to decimate humanity itself.

In World War Z, it is a movie you get to see Brad Pitt (as Gerry Lane) one man show. Nah it is not typical action packed Zombie movie. It is more like adventure and survival for me since Gerry wasn't a soldier or warrior, but an investigator. The movie is full with suspense, surprises and ZOMBIESSSSS of course. Everything happen quite fast. Within the first 10 minutes of the movie, Zombie already introduce and attacking human on the street (as seen in most WWZ trailer).

However, dislike some scene for being too dark and fast moving camera. Can't really see what's happening. The Zombies in this movie seem doesnt eat brain or flash. They just bite them off to turn them into Zombie. Yup, no bloody and gore scene. In the same time those Zombies was on high steroid most of the time since they very aggressive and running very fast. Kinda remind me of the crappy Resident Evil movie. I also curious how can Tommy survive from the Zombie attack when his parent was attacked? Where is the he holding gun from? Why Gerry Lane did not use any gun?

Oh I almost forgot the most useless character in the movie, Professor Fassbach who suppose accompanied Gerry to find antidote, trip down himself because of too panic when saw zombie then accidentally shot himself dead. Dafuq! Oh I can't help it but Brad Pitt looks like Chris Hemsworth/Thor here. In my heart keep shouting "IDIOT! USE YOUR MJORNIR!" LOL

Nevertheless, I think it is a type of movie either you love it, or hate it. It might disappoint some zombie fans there.
