Tiger Halloween Dead Thirsty Party @ Thai Club

Holla! It is Halloween today! Well I am not a huge fans of Halloween and no, I hate to cosplay actually. I love being myself coz I know I am scary enuf. What? No? I got killer eye ok! *Stare die you*

Alright despite how much I am not a fans of Halloween, I do went to Tiger Halloween Dead Thirsty Party last week Friday at Thai Club. Well uhh only monster allowed to went in the club and I successfully go inside by being myself. I am a monster rawrr! However their main theme was actually Zombie lol

Party was starting half way when I arrived by an awesome group singing performance. They taking turn to sing and I am amazed with their international song. Well by international mean they actually sing thai, eng, malay, chinese and hokkien songs.

I actually never expect there will be a performance. Thus, I only brought my trustworthy 12mm lens to the event. Feeling limited to the gear, I actually feel like give up shooting the performance and enjoy myself. However my heart is screaming me to shoot. In the end, I shoot all the way with my 12mm, wide angle all the way!

Ok sorry for my craps. Back to the event. Next performance was by a group of Zombie girls dancing with suddenly Gangnam Style song as ending. Pretty awesome and scary in the same time :P Kinda remind me of the Michael Jackson zombie from Plant VS Zombie game.

Finally the event ended with performance from Queen, a group of girl singer from China. They have awesome voice and again, they performed difference language of song.

One of their performance mixed with light saber and cyclop beam. Kinda awesome but cause I have limitation in shooting since it was totally darkness. However, it is still awesome!

The event continue with DJ rocking in the house with music. Thanks God no Thai song despite being in Thai Club haha.

Overall, first time experienced party with monster in club and I would said it is not bad..except some monster are being in bad mood and having weird behavior.

Skyfall Premier Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang I get to watch Skyfall Premier Screening before it release at cinema this Thursday. A must watch James Bond movie for all 007 fans!

SKYFALL, from Albert R Broccoli's EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment, is directed by Academy Award® winner Sam Mendes and stars Daniel Craig, who returns for his third film as Ian Fleming's James Bond 007.

I am not really a hardcore James Bond fans and the last James Bond movie I remember I watch wasn't from Daniel Craig. Yes it was that long. Nevertheless, the movie is pretty awesome though I felt the story pretty dull and draggy. Takes long time to go climax.

The whole movie is pretty much packed with chasing, action and massive gun fire at the climax of the movie. One of my favourite scene is none other than the bike chasing scene where 007 jump to train together with his bike. Not really impressed with the gun fire at the climax.

What I felt lack in this movie was hot chick and cool gear. Oh well, the girl not exactly hot nor playing important role in the movie. But I bet all girls are drool over Questermaster AKA Q in the movie :P

Nevertheless, catch up this movie on cinema coming this Thursday! One of the movie you shouldn't miss it!

Journey to Convocation at Melaka - Coconut Shake @ Bukit Berendam

Beat me, I dun really fancy reviewing beverage but when I do, it is something special that I don't think is available in KL. Correct me if I am wrong :P

* Coconuts, nuts everywhere *

So here we are, on the last day in Melaka for deary convocation.. Oh wait I just realize I din even blog about her convo yet.. So, here a picture of my baby girl and me during her convocation ;P Oh i got an awesome hair that day despite sweat like hell since her convo is on d afternoon till evening.

Ok back to business. So here we are, on the last day in Melaka for deary convocation which is also a day we head back to KL, deary drop by Batu Berendam and brought me to have the so called famous Coconut Shake. According to her there are 2 location which is Batu Berendam and Klebang but she prefer Batu Berendam LOL

* The stall *
* Price tag *

I really do fancy coconut drinks since it actually feel good when drink on hot day. What's more if it is shake? More cold! LOL..Plus the price pretty reasonable for me. Starting from RM2.30 to RM3.30.

* Blending *
* Chopping *
* Anticipating *

Of course, I dowan too much ice cream on the drinks since it might affect the coconut taste, thus I just go ahead with Coconut Shake Special (which come with 1 scoop of ice cream on top), RM2.80.

After trying out that. Yes it is cold. Nice to drink on hot day. But still nth special for me. Probably milk taste too heavy and covered most coconut taste. Actually I pretty like it. Maybe I should try it out the normal one someday when I have chance to back to Melaka again.

Journey to Convocation at Melaka - Amigo Steak & Grill

I found another love fiid at Melaka thanks to Betina! Yup! It is Amigo Restaurant that located at Jalan Melaka Raya 8. As everyone know I am huge fans of chicken chop and steak thus, this restaurant really served what I need.

Me myself are the type of kinda picky when come to price and portion and also the taste of food. In this case, Amigo do fulfil all my criteria! Price and portion are pretty balance, which mean affordable and not too small in size. Taste wise, it has what it should and I dare to say it even taste better than most restaurant out there. Not to mention the large varieties in the menu.

* Lime Plum Juice RM 3.50 *
* Yam Milk Shake RM 5.50 *

Eventhough they are well known as steak house, surprisingly they offered sushi as well. Being curious on how it taste like and will it be on par with most japanese shop out there, I ordered fews.

* Salmon Maki RM 4 (at the back) and Tamago Maki RM 3 (front) *

I ordered Salmon Maki and Tamago Maki. The Salmon inside the maki is very big if I were to compared. Taste wise, it is definitely taste much better than most sushi restaurant, My favourite of course the Tamago Maki while le gf love Salmon Maki.

* Chicken Cordon Bleu RM 15 *

Next, le gf ordered Chicken Cordon Bleu. Like the name suggested, is was wrapped with cheese and ham inside. The chicken is very crispy and easily to cut off. The taste is good as well, par with the standard at least and in my whole life, the only Chicken Cordon Bleu I ever tasted was from Secret Recipe and right now, Amigo has done it with much cheaper and larger portion than Secret Recipe. It is also worth to mention it came with salad and fries.

* Cajun Chicken RM 15 *

I almost ordered Mozzarella Chicken (RM18) for myself but in the end I change my mind and go for Cajun Chicken because I never heard such name before. What exactly Cajun Chicken is? Well it actually a grilled chicken topped with dry chillies on top of it. I try to do abit research and apparently Cajun is a type of cuisine. You may click here to read. Well I do like my Chicken alot. It really taste very spicy however the more I eat the more I feel like I am actually eating ajinamoto like those taiwanese chicken. But don't get me right, it still taste very nice. It just me who will get sick of too much ajinamoto. The meal is come with potato mashes instead of fries and salad like my gf meal.

Overall, it was a very nice and cheap dining place. I do highly recommend this to everyone who love steak. Someday, I will be back there to try their grill since it look so tempting and most customers there are ordering it.

Frankenweenie 3D Premier Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang I get to watch Frankenweenie premier screening before it release in cinema.

From creative genius Tim Burton ("Alice in Wonderland," The Nightmare Before Christmas") comes "Frankenweenie," a heartwarming tale about a boy and his dog. After unexpectedly losing his beloved dog Sparky, young Victor harnesses the power of science to bring his best friend back to life-with just a few minor adjustments. He tries to hide his home-sewn creation, but when Sparky gets out, Victor's fellow students, teachers and the entire town all learn that getting a new "leash on life" can be monstrous.

Another awesome stop motion animation this year! I totally have no idea it was a remade from old movie, Vincent & Frankenweenie, live action short film. Overall, thumb up to the smoothness and awesome motion. The only thing I dislike was the pointless 3D glasses that I wore.

Overall, simple and straight forward story. Plus, I love the way Tim Burton establish the relationship between Victor and Sparky. Not much facial expression from most character except, I love the science teacher facial. Sparky character is the most outstanding and cheerful of course throughout the whole movie.

Just like the live action, happy ending in the end when everyone though Sparky will never come back and even Victor said he don't need to come back anymore. Yes, that moment is very touchy and at the instant it has become happy ending..where I actually wished Sparky really gone for sure.

Not much comedy but some dark humours. Catch this in cinema this Thursday ;)
