Early of the year, I used Olympus STYLUS TG-3 Tough for a macro shooting and once again, today I am using the TG-4 for macro. How time flies so fast and also a sign how little update my blog had every month now. Oh well...

If you had read my TG3 review before, you already had better idea how well the macro mode work on this tough series. The TG4 is an improvement version from the predecessor and this time around, it came with RAW format in the camera! Without hesitate, I turned on the RAW and begin shooting. YES all photos in this post was taken by RAW and going through post processing which usually I don't. I intend to see how much pics taken by TG4 can be push further too.

Once again, I am happy with the TG4 performance in macro shooting. Is pretty much no brainer and just aim, spam the shutter until get a satisfactory result. Of course, everything will be perfect if I have a pair of steady hand or tripod to shoot. I felt my photos this time is pretty much worst than the 1 I did for TG3. Sigh, guess I need practice more on macro to back into the track.

Overall, the TG-4 macro is no doubt again, something usually a normal compact camera can't do in this world. I guess I should really bring the tough series to underwater and start shooting something different. In future hopefully.
