Summary : At the Narumi Detective Agency, Akiko has fallen ill with a cold, eventually making Phillip to figure out of why "idiots can't catch a cold" in the process. The agency gets a phone call from a man who claims that he is being chased. When Shotaro arrives on the scene, he comes across the man when all of a sudden a black SUV with lightning bolts painted on it comes out of a garage and runs through the man, who suddenly writhes in pain and blacks out. When Shotaro is taken in for questioning at the Futo Police Station, Makura questions him believing Shotaro killed the man until Detective Jinno reveals that the man died from a strange virus and he belonged to a gang. Shotaro and Akiko (still sick) go see the Watcherman for information, when he tells them the other gang members and the bar where they usually hang out. They go to to the bar to question the gang's leader Kurosu, but when Shotaro insults him he pulls a gun out. Akiko drags Shotaro out, and afterwards they listen in on two of the other gang members' conversation. Shotaro follows them when the black SUV appears once more, hitting one of the two gang members. Shotaro prepares to transform into Kamen Rider Double, but Philip is still trying to figure out why idiots can't catch a cold. Shotaro uses the Bat Shot to take photos of the SUV's driver until they finally transform in time to save the other gang member. However, the Nasca Dopant appears and attacks Double, allowing the SUV to infect the other gang member and escape. When Philip identifies the driver as a man named Kōhei Yamamura, Shotaro confronts him and learns that his sister was hit by an SUV driven by the gang members and she is now in a coma. Shotaro accuses Yamamura of being the Dopant responsible, leading Yamamura to run away, escaping on a bus when a man named Noriyuki Yushima holds Shotaro off. After, Yushima tells Shotaro that he was to marry Yamamura's sister before the accident. When Yushima leaves, Akiko notifies Shotaro that the SUV driven by Yamamura is about to attack Kurosu. He transforms into Double and manages to intercept the SUV before it can infect Kurosu, eventually destroying it with HeatMetal's Metal Branding. However, when they realize that there was no Gaia Memory broken they realize that Yamamura is not the Dopant, just when the Virus Dopant appears.
