The last of Chow Kit Market

P8260251
* Independent day is coming soon! *

So, I heard Chow Kit market gonna close down (or maybe renovate into new facelit). The construction is on going now in one of the part and the stalls all shifted to further and newly built building. Anyway, I managed to have shooting with Robin on last Tuesday morning at Chow Kit. Probably my last time here before it completely tear down. Phew, not a good idea to do shutter theraphy on weekday due to jam! Well, at least it worth my travel. We managed to have our breakfast at Kin Kin Pan Mee.

Reason being Robin shooting on weekday is to prepare something big. What it is? Something exciting gonna announce from Olympus on next morning! Done our breakfast, we attack the Chow Kit market.

I returned the Panasonic 25mm f1.4 to Alex on that day itself. So most of my shot this time around were with Olympus 45mm f1.8 and also Olympus 12mm f2! Ahhhh miss my wide angle lens so much after lending it to Alex so long. I bet he miss his 25mm too LOL.. In the same time, been hogging around 25mm for so long made me almost forgot how awesome Olympus 45mm f1.8 is.

Managed to pump my Olympus OM-D E-M1 ISO to 3200 too on one of the market part. Well I don't really love shooting in high ISO #youknowwhybecauseofhighnoiseuglycolorimagenotsharp but once again, technology nowdays proved to me what they are capable of.

Done our shooting, we walk all the way to Dang Wangi for lunch. We went for the brand new shifted Yut Kee! Well they actually just shifted to behind building from their previous location. The environment look much better but I think the menu went price hike too. Nevertheless, I had awesome Pork Chop as my lunch! Yummy! Still haven't got chance to try their roasted pork. Someday!

Samsung NX Mini - Stylish Because I can

P8220234

What if I tell you, camera can be also a part of fashion accessories? No doubt on that because some camera nowadays are colorful and refreshing. Samsung NX Mini are one of them. Besides small and compact, Samsung NX Mini also came with various of colours -black, brown, pink, mint and white leatherette design for individual preference.

The leatherette design added bonus point in terms of style and also premium look.

While it is not real leather, but it still look good generally! I love white color too since it easily match with everything. Is either it blend with me, or create a contrast when I am wearing dark color clothes. Personally, Samsung NX Mini is suitable on any situation be it casual or for something formal. It just look stylish and able to blend well to everywhere.

P8220244

Unfortunately I am not a lady. Hence my usual bag is much manlier looking. This are gears I usually bring along when I went for street shooting. A small camera bag, 2 lenses, and 2 camera body. Of course with the size of Samsung NX Mini, it wouldn't hurt to add extra camera body in my bag or I could easily fit it in my pocket.

P8220239

The Samsung NX Mini will be priced at RRP RM1,399 with 9mm f3.5 lens. So what are you waiting for? Just grab one and be stylish! Not because only I can, you also can!

Pudu Wet Market revisit again and again

P7260006

Never get tired or bored with Pudu market. People are friendly there. The market are busy and happening as usual especially it was near Raya on the weekend I went. On the other note, I took my sweet time updating my blog it seem.. No wonder so little post per month now la! *slep self*.. gotta be more hardworking and back to my old momentum... I wish

Nevertheless, all photos are taken with my Olympus OM-D E-M1 + Olympus 45mm f1.8 and Panasonic 25mm f1.4. All shot at wide open aperture of course. Noticeable an obvious purple fringing in some of my photos when taken with Panasonic 25mm. Not surprise since Olympus did not do software correction on Panasonic lens. Damn!

Overall, I love Panasonic 25mm f1.4 but then again, I would prefer Olympus 25mm anytime due to various reason :
1) Cheaper in cost
2) Noticeable smaller and lighter design
3) f1.8 vs f1.4 not much difference in terms of bokeh.
4) As Robin said, Olympus 25mm noticeable wider than Pana 25mm but then again, could be because we use it on Olympus body.
5) Olympus did software correction on it's own lens.

Overall, always feel great to be able to shoot on street. C&C as usual welcome :)
