Summary : Terui and Makura follow Himuro, a police officer who has been working with Gaia Memory dealers. Once they prepare to arrest him, a group of people surround them and transform into Masquerade Dopants. Due to Makura's clumsiness, he falls down and is knocked out, leaving Terui to transform into Kamen Rider Accel to fight off the Dopants. Himuro attempts to escape, but he hears a familiar tune being whistled, wondering if it is "Mizoguchi" when the Triceratops Dopant confronts him. He tries to get away, but the Dopant kills him. Accel goes to fight the Dopant but it gets away. Ryu goes back to check on Makura when another Masquerade Dopant appears only to be shot by Detective Aya Kujo, a member of the FPD who has been working for the LAPD. The next day, Makura goes to the Narumi Detective Agency to ask for Shotaro's help to help investigate the dirty cops as to impress Kujo, who he has become enamored with. Shotaro agrees to take the case and he, Makura, and Akiko go to see Watcherman who directs them to follow Ken Akutsu. They track him down just as Kujo and Ryu have as well, watching him meet with Santa-chan before Makura blows everyone's cover. They give chase, and Ryu comes across Akutsu just as the Triceratops Dopant appears again to attack Akutsu. Shotaro arrives to transform into Kamen Rider Double CycloneJoker to prevent Akutsu's death, allowing him to escape. Ryu loses sight of Akutsu, but finds a keychain he had dropped with the name "Catherine" on it. Double and the Triceratops Dopant continue to fight, with Double outmatched until transforming into HeatMetal to turn the tides (particularly by striking the Dopant's leg) until the Triceratops Dopant escapes. Everyone regroups and Ryu shows the keychain he found. At the Digal Corporation, Saeko reviews footage of Kamen Rider Accel before reminding Wakana about how she is being taught about the true nature of Gaia Memories and receiving a call from Akutsu on how he needs protection. The detectives return to the Agency where Kujo briefs everyone on Mizoguchi, her former superior officer who mysteriously vanished while investigating the same case. Ryu later asks her if she loved Mizoguchi, which she admits. With Philip's help, they determine that "Catherine" is the name of Akutsu's boat where they all go to track him down. After holding Shotaro at gunpoint, Ryu manages to disarm Akutsu and learn how he and Himuro were sending criminals to the Gaia Memory dealers so they could perform experiments on new Gaia Memories, how he and Himuro killed Mizoguchi, and how he will not be stopped due to the protection he receives from the Smilodon Dopant who arrives to attack Shotaro and Ryu. After Accel manages to drive the Smilodon Dopant away, Double and Accel watch Akutsu escaping on the Catherine until the boat explodes due to an attack from the Triceratops Dopant. Shotaro wonders if it is Mizoguchi until Philip corrects him. Ryu then identifies the Dopant as Kujo, who transforms back saying she could never fool Ryu.
