Based on the first three Guardians of Ga'Hoole book series by Kathryn Lasky, it tells of Soren (Jim Sturgess), a young barn owl who is kidnapped by owls of St. Aggie's, ostensibly an orphanage where owlets are brainwashed into becoming soldiers. He and new friends escape to the island of Ga'Hoole, to assist its noble, wise owls who fight the army being created by the wicked rulers of St. Aggie's.
Well, as an 3D animator, i m not gonna miss this show after watching the awesome trailer! The modeling, rendering, texturing and animation is very impressive! It foes to realism style instead of cartoonish tat we alwiz get to see from PIXAR production. Concept wise, it is something new. How often do u get to see bird as main character? Not to mention it is an Owl! The story wise was pretty good as well.
