Guinsess St Patrick's Day 2012 at Changkat

I have so much fun run away from Future Music Festival Asia to join the once a year event, St Patrick's day. Still remember I was at the same spot last year and there is how I met some of the valuable friends :) You know who you are *Ahem*

Nevertheless, the condition is same like last year. Packed with people, packed with performances, and of course, packed with Guinness! It would't be a celebration without Guinness ;)

Don't really get to shoot alot since I am tired actually (Half day working, half day at FMFA). Managed to grabs a bites while enjoying the early firework on the celebration. It was awesome experience except, the firework was firing near an apartment LOL

It was great to be able to join outdoor celebration once in a while :) I have a good night with great companies.

Imagination

For me, everyone do imagine. Imagination is a very powerful Intellectual Properties that belong to everyone. However, i guess when we grown up, our imagination has become limited. Maybe the way we think has become more logic thanks to science fact. Maybe it is the reality and cruel world pull us back from dare to imagine and dreaming.

However, I guess it is pretty nice if you are full with imagination. You could be innovative and creative as well. This is what i seriously need for my line of job. Anyway, i go through the youtube and stumble across a video by Sony Mobile. It is an advertisement for Sony Xperia S based on imagination. Who is the most imaginative? Children of course. The Hunger Games Premiere Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang and Churpchurp, I get to catch up this movie last night, a day before it officially release in cinema.

Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games. Part twisted entertainment, part government intimidation tactic, the Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which "Tributes" must fight with one another until one survivor remains. Pitted against highly-trained Tributes who have prepared for these Games their entire lives, Katniss is forced to rely upon her sharp instincts as well as the mentorship of drunken former victor Haymitch Abernathy. If she's ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weigh survival against humanity and life against love.

Based on Suzanne Collins novel adoption, I bet fans might be feel disappointed in this movie. Well, novel always better than movie anyway. The director tried to cramp everything in a novel into almost 2.5 hours length movie, which i felt kinda draggy in certain part. Since I never read the novel before, thus my opinion might not that bias ;P

Nevertheless, the story is nice, interesting concept. However i felt some part is pretty draggy. In addition, kinda dislike the character development only happen right before climax between Katniss and Peeta. I don't know that's true love between them or it just an act so that both of them can survive the game.

I dislike the shaky camera used when action happen..to fast, too messy, cant see a shit. Oh well, the tension was shown through this camera technique but cant see a shit at all. Other than that, I am impress with the architecture concept and also the fashion for those people in the city. Well kinda fantasy style and remind me abit of Final Fantasy 8 concept.

Nevertheless, the movie is still enjoyable to watch. It makes me feel like grab the trilogy novel and read it.

Reason why New iPad is trolling

As everyone know, the NEW iPad physically design still same with the iPad 2. If you dont know check out my Dygadget blog for that ;)

Back to reality, the only difference between the New iPad (I wonder why they dowan name it as iPad 3) and iPad 2 is only :

Seriously are you impressed with the spec? Same Dual core CPU but Quad Core GPU, mean good for graphic. 5MP camera (same optical built with iPhone 4S) but do u reli shoot with iPad? 4G LTE but Malaysia don't have yet (DiGi will have it first!). 9.4mm thickness and 1.4lbs, more than the new iPad 2. Finally, retina display.

So, how does the New iPad shine to normal user? Let's check the video below ;) A survey done by a hong kong people. Sorry it is in Cantonese and no english subtitle.

Basically they troll those people first by saying there is a new iPad and handed them iPad 2 instead of the New iPad first. Most of the normal user said "Wah! Yea wor the screen clearler! Sharper" And when they unveiled that that's iPad 2, they compare it with iPad 3 and they said the display only slight differences. Not important at all for them.

Of course, if you are hardcore user, you could recognize it on 1st glance. But question is, normal user really hardly differentiate it. What if they kena conned to buy iPad 2 instead of New iPad? since no physical design changes. Maybe they should really go click "About Phone/Tablet" to check that out LOL..

I'll rather go for iPad 2 instead new iPad (or maybe not getting at all LOL). Graphic and screen display, nah not interested. Rather read stuff with my PC and play game with real hardcore console. Trust me, the gaming experience with real console and iPad apps is totally difference.

Finally, the video also proven that, apple has no new revolution. Use back same shit to create another shit.
