Paradise Inn @ Sunway Pyramid

For those who never heard of Paradise Inn before, they are famous for their traditional Double-boiled soup to sumptuous arrays of Chinese favorite dishes to flavorful flower tea. Thier dishes mostly catered for a healthy and complete meal at a go. For now, they are ready came out with over 20 varieties of main course accompanied with traditional double-boiled soup, fresh vegetables, 3 side dishes of the day and Jasmine steamed rice. I was invited to test out the new set menu.

Tried their four different tea - Lily Flower & Forget Me Not, Lavender & Rosemary, Rose & Forget Me Not and Jasmine & Osmanthus. It is hard to differentiate the outlook and the taste at first but what differentiate is their after taste. Each of them have difference unique after taste and aromatic. Highly recommended for flower tea lover. I can just sit whole day and enjoy myself with the tea.

There are 4 categories of main course, the Chargrilled, Hot Stone Bowl, Hot Steaming Basket and Mini Wok.

* Lotus, Fried Chicken & Toufu *

For your information, all set will usually come with this side dishes and also double boiled soup.

* Supreme Seafood Fried Rice RM20.90++ *

Supreme Seafood Fried Rice is just another fried rice catered for seafood lover. The fried rice is infused with egg yolk accompanied by scallop and prawns. As a fried rice lover, this is one of the best seafood fried rice I ever had.

* Fried Rice with Chinese Sausages RM19.90++ *

I am not a huge fans of chinese sausage. Put aside the lap mei, I love the rice. But to put it into overall taste, it just ok. Nothing to shout.

* Stir-Fried Udon with Black pepper Sauce and Seafood RM22.90++ *

Not into Udon but this easily become my first favourite udon. The mixture of sweet and black pepper sauce could easily make everyone love it. Too bad I feel the noodle is too little. Perhaps I am just a big eater.

* Stir-Fried Seafood Hokkien Mee RM21.90++ *

Yes I love hokkien mee! Not too wet, not too dry. Just a perfect hokkien mee served by Paradise Inn. Not to mention it is less oily and it taste perfectly with their home made sambal.

* Stir-Fried Sweet and Sour Pork RM19.90++ *

It might look like ordinary sweet and sour pork but the pork actually perfectly fried before topping it with the sweet and sour sauce. The pork cutlet meat is tender and nice to chew. Too bad, the sauce provided wasn't more enough to wet the rice.

* Steamed Minced Pork Patty with Salted Fish RM19.90 *

Not a very salty one. Of course, if you feel salty for you, just pair it with the rice, you feel the awesome combo.

* Stir-Fried Beef Slices with Spring Onion RM23.90 *

Gotta give a praise to the beef because it doesn't taste so heavy. Wonder it is the magic of spring onions? Overall it is perfect dishes for a day.

* Taiwanese Style Stewed Chicken in Supreme Soy Sauce RM20.90++ *

I guess I am more to chicken meat lover. I must say this is a bomb! The chicken is stewed and glazed in supreme soy sauce make me easily addicted to it.

* Seafood with Spicy Homemade Sauce RM23.90++ *

The homemade sauce just taste like asam to me. It is spicy no doubt but I love it. It just taste right and nothing to shout on it.

* Crispy Fermented Pork Ribs RM23.90++ *

The pork meat look like char siu at first glance but actually it is not. The meat is soft and has slight crispy on the edge but it almost tasteless. Totally not my type of pork.

* Sliced Pork Collar with Lemongrass and Honey RM23.90++ *

While the pork ribs pretty disappointing, this pork collar is awesome! The meat is so tender and one of the nicest part in pork. Chargrilled it with lemongrass and honey sauce, it will never go wrong!

* Chicken Drumlets with Spiced Marination RM 20.90++ *

It just taste almost like those MSG chicken aka taiwan style but it is not spicy. The skin is crispy and meat is juicy enough. Dislike the skin but I wouldn't mind go for the meat.

There are more set food offered in their menu I wish to try too back stomach is not black hole :P For those who are looking for healthy yet tasty food, Paradise Inn should be in one of your list.

The Dark Knight Rises Premiere Screening

Courtesy to Churpchurp, I get to watch The Dark Knight Rises Premiere Screening before it release on cinema today.

Warner Bros. Pictures' and Legendary Pictures' "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan's Batman trilogy, Leading an all-star international cast, Oscar® winner Christian Bale ("The Fighter") again plays the dual role of Bruce Wayne/Batman. The film also stars Anne Hathaway, as Selina Kyle; Tom Hardy, as Bane; Oscar® winner Marion Cotillard ("La Vie en Rose"), as Miranda Tate; and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, as John Blake.Returning to the main cast, Oscar® winner Michael Caine ("The Cider House Rules") plays Alfred; Gary Oldman is Commissioner Gordon; and Oscar® winner Morgan Freeman ("Million Dollar Baby") reprises the role of Lucius Fox.

So, the final conclusion of Batman Trilogy by Christopher Nolan, one of the director i been looking up. I felt the Dark Knight Rises itself is very awsome on it's own. However to compare with previous Batman trilogy, there are alot plotholes.

The storyline is very well built, detailed and lengthy. That's explain why my ass was stick to the cinema seat for 2 hour and 45 minutes. I felt abit draggy in the middle part though and don;t be surprise, the story are focusing more on Bane rather than Batman himself. Not much action and WOW factor except, the cool looking bike.

Anne Hathaway acts as Catwoman/Selina Kyle was good. However, her existence in the movie doesn't contribute much beside stealing, bring Batman to Bane, shoot a tunnel and finally give a final blow..ok not job but FINAL BLOW to bane.

I enjoy watching Bane character, acted by Tom Hardy which I pretty unexpected from their body shape LOL..However, Bane was seem to be superior than Batman at their first price but suddenly on their second encounter he easily get defeated by Batman - who came back from the so called most scary darkest cave in the world. Oh not to mention, Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) seem got alot free time to shave his beard after came out from the cave.

Overall, I am still very enjoy watching this movie. I love how to ending goes with some unexpected twist, Robin ;)

The Amazing Spider-Man Premier Screening

Courtesy of Nuffnang, I get to watch The amazing Spider-Man Premier Screening before it official release on cinema this Thursday. This is actually one of the movie I anticipating most because Spider-Man was my first super hero I knew and like from Marvels. Not to mention, this reboot has a proper storyline (according to comic).

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker, an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors, his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

What I like about this Amazing Spider-Man? It has a better character development, much proper storyline as I mentioned before and of course, highly textured and detailed on Spider-Man suit. In this reboot, the story actually shown what Peter Parker parent work as, why they disappear, the appearance and death of Uncle Ben, a character who actually given most impact to Peter Parker.

Gwen Stacy make appearances as main heroin in this movie. If you guys don't know, Gwen Stacy was actually Peter Parker first love before Mary Jane. Norman Osborn name was mentioned few times in the movie. To refresh your memories, Norman Osborn is Green Goblin (Yes, exactly the same character from 1st Spider-Man movie). Could it mean the next Amazing Spider-Man movie will have his appearance? Or Doctor Octopus come first? Because in comic Gwen father actually killed by Doctor Octopus :P sorry spoiler too much.

According to the comic, Gwen Stacy will killed by Green Goblin and later Peter will get closer with Mary Janes. Anyway, the main villain in this movie is Lizard, or known as Dr Curtis Connors. Well, he don't really wear his lab coat after he transform and he doesn't exactly look like a lizard. Look more humanish lizard. Oh god Why?

Overall, a very nice and much establish Spider-Man story. At least, I love this more than the previous one which I felt pretty screw up. Catch this on cinema if you're Spidey fans! It won't disappointed you!

Piranha 3DD Premiere Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang, i get to watch Piranha 3DD Premiere Screening before it release in cinema.

Story revolve around piranha making their way into swimming pools, pipes, and plumbing at a newly opened waterpark named Wilderness Waters. The race is on to save the town from these flesh-eating creatures.

Ok Piranha 3DD but we are not watching in 3D..lol..did not watch the first Piranha 3D but it doesnt matter, doesnt have much link anyway. Overall, this movie is a totally joke. It will kill ur logic brain, so be sure throw ur brain out before watching this, if u wanna watch..

The story actually kinda build up pretty good. It look scary and horror enuf to scare the audiences. Well, not until the appearance of David Hasselhoff's who totally a joker in the movie. The movie turn out to be comedy or very Final Destination-ish-like in d end, yea here is where brain got mindfucked.

Not to mention, the whole movie has been censored kao kao. No enjoyment Zzz..well since it is mind fucking movie, no point for me to put spoiler to point out the doesnt make sense stuff. Whole movie dosn't make sense, tats all.

Seriously, what the hell d director try to do or achieve from this movie? Try to show that Piranha can come out from Vagina and bite whichever guy dick that fuck the vagina? Well, i actually love the last quote, "They changing..they learn how to walk!" really ROFLMAO movie...
