Courtesy of Nuffnang, I get to watch The amazing Spider-Man Premier Screening before it official release on cinema this Thursday. This is actually one of the movie I anticipating most because Spider-Man was my first super hero I knew and like from Marvels. Not to mention, this reboot has a proper storyline (according to comic).
The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker, an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr. Curt Connors, his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.
What I like about this Amazing Spider-Man? It has a better character development, much proper storyline as I mentioned before and of course, highly textured and detailed on Spider-Man suit. In this reboot, the story actually shown what Peter Parker parent work as, why they disappear, the appearance and death of Uncle Ben, a character who actually given most impact to Peter Parker.
Gwen Stacy make appearances as main heroin in this movie. If you guys don't know, Gwen Stacy was actually Peter Parker first love before Mary Jane. Norman Osborn name was mentioned few times in the movie. To refresh your memories, Norman Osborn is Green Goblin (Yes, exactly the same character from 1st Spider-Man movie). Could it mean the next Amazing Spider-Man movie will have his appearance? Or Doctor Octopus come first? Because in comic Gwen father actually killed by Doctor Octopus :P sorry spoiler too much.
According to the comic, Gwen Stacy will killed by Green Goblin and later Peter will get closer with Mary Janes. Anyway, the main villain in this movie is Lizard, or known as Dr Curtis Connors. Well, he don't really wear his lab coat after he transform and he doesn't exactly look like a lizard. Look more humanish lizard. Oh god Why?
Overall, a very nice and much establish Spider-Man story. At least, I love this more than the previous one which I felt pretty screw up. Catch this on cinema if you're Spidey fans! It won't disappointed you!
