Ong Kee Yip Chee May Big Bun @ Taman Connaught, Cheras

People keep saying Yip Chee May Tai Pao Yip Chee May Tai Pao! Well it do really refer to her Tai Pao (big bun)- if you know what I mean :P Go google yourself. Anyway for 4 years studying in UCSI, I never know such big bun existed nearby. I decided to give it a try when I pass by Taman Connaught after my short trip at Paya Indah Wetlands.

Yup it wasn't from a restaurant or any food shop. It actually a sell on the truck at road side. It is very easy to spot on since it was along the road where the famous Pasar Malam Taman Connaught was. Here are the list of buns they sell.

Since I am curious, of course I am getting the largest bun I ever seen in my life - Yip Chee May big breast big bun while deary trying other bun.

The uncle is very friendly too after he saw I was holding a camera and shooting around. He offer himself to be photograph together with other breasts big bun in the tray.

Well I am keeping it until dinner actually and deary decided to throw into micro oven to warm it.

And guess she set the temperature too high or too long duration, the breast big bun surface was burn. Well it is still edible actually and taste not bad :P

Here is the size of the big breast bun and I gotta use fork and spoon to eat it.

To be honest. Overated for me. It is big. But it also very zai to finish eat it alone. I gave up after ate half of it. It is way too oily that make me feel disgusted and feel jelak over it. Not to mention it actually nothing special. Just like ordinary big bun but in bigger size only.

Guess I gonna stop eating breast bun for a moment ;/

Great Day 天天好天 Movie

Just back from movie with my classmate. Another piece of film by our local production, same with last year, Tiger Woohoo movie :)..most of the main cast was DJ from MyFM.

Great Day tells the story of two Uncles who live in an old folks home. Aggravated by an argument, the two men decided to escape from the old folks home to find their children just to show off whose children is better with the help of Ah Hock and Ultraman. The fun catches in with odd circumstances, but in the end of the day it's going to be a big reunion at the old folk's home.

Is a very nice story revolving parent children relationship :)..previously i never watch the trailer before thus from the beginning of the story, the main focus was relationship between father (Jack Lim) and son.

However, i'll say nth much about them actually. Their relationship was all the way good and no conflict happen. Unlike the Uncle Lim who came all d way from perlis to kl to find his daughter and grandchildren. He face alot conflict from his family from the beginning.

However towards d end it is very warm feeling especially when his granddaughter went all d way alone from KL to perlis, the old folk home to find her grandpa because she realize she only manage to meet her grandpa 10 times more by assuming her grandpa can live until 80 years and only get to meet 1 years once.

In the same time, director tried to make the ending into simple form and harmony. I kinda like it but mayb is too simple..could b better i think :) Overall it is a good movie but i think if they could focus on the Uncle Lim more on the whole movie, the impact might b better :)



Watching this movie seriously make me cried abit in cinema. Because it is touched! it even make me reminded my grandpa who pass away 4 years back..all d memories juz pop out out of sudden T__T

Anyway, do watch this movie :) i alwiz love local production with very warm family feeling type!

Sun Ming Restaurant - Char Siew Duck Rice ICHIBAN!

Finally i managed to grab my ass today and went to this shop, Sun Ming! It was located at Taman Connaught, Cheras. To be honest i never felt any nice food to eat at Taman Connaught. Plus food in my uni was kinda normal with d overated prices. Thanks to Yat! He recommended me this shop not long ago and i got my chance to try it wif my coursemate.

I went there after class, which is around 1pm. As i expected, that shop was crowded wif ppl due to lunch time. Well, Sun Ming is famous for d roasted duck. However their Char Siew and Siew Yuk not bad too! It was fantastic!

Under Yat recommendation, i got myself a Char Siew Duck Rice. The Char Siew was half fat half meat (i guess tats d way they call it). In addition, d feeling when u bite d char siew was difference than d usual char siew v use to ate from most chicken rice shop and it taste nice! Same goes to the roasted duck! The duck skin was abit crisp and taste nice!

I heard u could actually straight away buy d duck at there as well. It cost around Rm40+ for a duck. Besides, the cost for Char Siew Duck Rice was RM7. Well, more expensive than i expected but it worth it! Coz it was reli nice and rarely to get this kind of shop around =)

The Terror of Pn Chew House

Today is d day where Pn Chew having her open house! She invite alot setapakian to join her house. Those batch can be catogorize to 4 batchs which are senior batch, my batch, junior batch and unknown batch (unknown junior actually..hahaha)..

so this early morning joe and tee went to my house. I drive them to yanling house and fetch her as well. at 1st v promise to wait yong at Mc D b4 jalan ampang there bcoz none of us know how to go Pn Chew. However, due to alwiz talking inside d car, v miss d Mc D and i drove until Tesco at Ampang..lol..eh to be honest, i dunno drive to cheras 1..thx to joe to insturct me all d way XD...and this is 1st time i officially drive in highway and i speed until 100km/h++...hahahaha..so syiok d feeling of speeding.sorry if i frighten my passanger XD...

so joe instruct me until i drove till nearby taman connaught. from there yanling took over to instruct me to Taman Len Sen (Pn Chew house). Then thx to her, v round around housing area and lost..! hahaha..then joe call pn chew for help. Thanks to Pn Chew husband guidance, finally we make throught to her house sound and safe XD...as soon as we enter her house, senior batch and my batch already there. kinda shock to saw kwong fei, chee fei and chee boon there as well, haha..

so today i have a very nice chat wif my senior since very long time din see them as well as my junior. Oh yea, v gamble in Pn Chew house as well. I manage to won abit from her house.

After that, Pn Chew offer to become banker. She have her own rules. Why? because she said economy crisis, tats why she had this kind of rules. What are her rules?

1) Min/Max bet is RM1
2) No double,triple etc..all flat rate, 1:1.

so every1 was happy wif her rate because on few round later Pn Chew manage to get blackjack! But only can earn RM1 from each person, hahahaa..anyway i had fun in Pn Chew house as well as gather wif my senior and junior. Quite surprice for some of them still recorgnize me =P..etc yi pei! hahaha...i couldn't recorgnize her at 1st glance actually coz she din wear spec..so paiseh.
