Y-Han & Yvonne Wedding

It has been busy weekend and also things happened on weekday. Anyway, if you follow my Insta or FB, it is easily guess that I was attended to Y-Han & Yvonne wedding last weekend at Ipoh. Well, she had wedding dinner in KL side but our gang decided to go ahead the Ipoh (Groom side) dinner instead which is one week later after the KL. Of course, most of us are happy for Yvonne. It was sudden, but finally the girl who keep complained she won't get marry first just got married, ahead all of us! Haha

Of course, as Yvonne friends, we (guy) don't need to be heng dai (best men) this round. It is our turn stand aside and laugh at the heng dai getting punished. I also given opportunity to being busy body to shoot her photos during her make up session on morning. Also got the opportunity to learned and observed from the official wedding photographer, Paul Kong. Awesome guy!

Done the morning session, we head to Ipoh for the dinner session. Managed to rent a room at Premium Hotel since the wedding dinner held at Casuarina @ Meru hotel. More pics on dinner night.

Once again, congratulation Yvonne. I am really so happy seeing you heading to the next stage of life. Hope you'll be happy ever after with Y-Han :) Before I end the post here, we actually did a surprise video for her. We purposely got a wedding card for her with a QRcode inside and asked her to scan :)

A Journey to Sabah Day 2 : Diary of Best Man

It has been taking me forever to came out a blog post nowdays. But coming this few weeks my life back to square one. Either it for a long terms or temporary no one know. Anyway, I should continue my last post of my Sabah trip which also highlight the main purpose all of us were there. Check out my Day 1 trip at Sabah if you havent k? So yea, early in the morning all of us woke up and get ready for the big day.

so OOTD of the day - some checker t shirt, strap, quater pant, white sock, Mr peabody & Shermen glass (thanks to Tony) and bow tie. Ok I know i sucks giving description for my OOTD :P

Frank has total 10 best men with him and out of three were us from SKJAP school. I know what you're thinking the moment you saw most of us dressed up that way - NERD. I was expecting to be the less nerd mana tau Hsien Hooi lagi not nerd than me since he don't have the pant strap.. piff Ok pics should do the work now.

This was my first time being best man actually. Well not that I always attend wedding anyway. But I know it is something unavoidable since everyone around my life are started to move on to next stage. Yea, more red bomb coming time to time :P Nevertheless, we have 4 stage of games to pass before able to open the door and meet the bride.

First, we are force to eat the "shit" at the pampers, second to drink coffee (with amount of correspond with the item you select. For eg you choose a cup, hence the amount of your coffee powder is same with the cup size), do the pose that shown in the given pics and finally find the key in the bucket that contains ice by using leg. Of course, some havoc happened in between game two and three where we managed to march onwards, defeating the bridesmaid XD

Done with the tea ceremony at girl side family, is time to move on to the guy side. We felt so VVIP because polices escorting us the whole journey to Frank house. OMG feel so yeng! XD

And so, done with all the morning ceremony, we headed back to our condo to rest and prepared for night dinner.

* We are expecting Wai Loon & Andrienne are the next couple to marry. Look how happy Frank is? *

I think I repeated this alot time. I am really happy for Frank who finally set his foot to the new stage of life and having his own family. May you bless in happiness and ever after with Yi Yen. Jr Frank next year maybe?

My journey at Sabah just ended and on day 3 we just spend our time lunch with Frank before we departed back to KL. It was short, but all of us had a great memories together. I am glad, I knew all this people in my life.

A Journey to Sabah Day 1 : Being Tourist

Last weekend, it was one of the weekend I been anticipating since half years ago! Because I am going Sabah with my childhood friends to attend Frank wedding! Still feel like it happened yesterday that we in Sabah and I miss them so much now. We had so much fun and experience. One of the valuable experiences of course looking at our dearest friend, Frank going to another stage of life - being someone husband and start up his own family. Not to mentioned, five years after our very first Penang trip, finally we are going trip together again!

We gathered as early as 5am at my house on Saturday morning before our flight on 7.30am. We reached right on time and manage to rented a Nissan Urvan as our transport for the next three days. So yea, being first timer in Sabah, I really wish to visit all the tourist spot and also try their local delight. Frank joined us on lunch on first day. He brought us to famous pork kon lou mee.

It is really of of the best kon lou mee with pork for me! The pork meatball and also internal organ are awesome! Nth much to shout on the Love Cheong though. Oh I love the Teh C Special as well where I believe we called it Three Layer Tea at here.

Done with our lunch, we proceed to check in our condo, Marina Court Condo. It is comfy despite look old and dirty. The only things we feel not comfortable with was the smell of seafood. Not sure it is because it near the sea. Done check in, we take a quick rest before proceed to next destination, Suria Sabah shopping Mall that located near our condo.

* Roti Kahwin RM 1.70 *

Manage to spot a Roti Kahwin in the mall food court and tempted to try. Ended up with disappointment since it is really taste like Roti Bakar I usually ate at my old work place, Meh.

* Milky Durian Freeze RM 12.90 *

We also smell a very strong durian flavour in the mall and ended up it was coming from a stall called Just Berry who sell durian dessert. Without hesitation me and deary shared the Milky Durian Freeze. It came with alot topping such as durian floss, coconut pudding, pomelo, sago, banana cake and of course, durian! The taste was well balance though my greedy side wish there are more durian inside. If only this shop in KL, it will be my fav dessert place!

Done with some quick shopping, we went to Tanjung Aru to chase sunset. Too bad the weather seem a little down and too many cloud. Not the ideal weather for me.

Din really capture photos in Tanjung Aru using my camera since I am using my Yashica 635 more on that time. Can't wait to finish up my film and bring it for post process!

We went to Frank house for dinner on that night before his big day. Yes, few of us are becoming heng dai chi mui (bridge and groom best man and maid) on the next day. It was my first time being someone best man actually and well, luckily things wasn't turn out so bad :P

The day one in Sabah ended with two bottle of red wine. Yes, it was that night I realize I have a bunch of alcoholic friends... LOL
