A Week Worth of Break

Wow February just decided to move away so fast. So hello March! Not sure to say I am busy or free on February but basically I have 2 weeks off from work in conjunction of Chinese New year! Yes that's alot but I don't have much ME time anyway. This also mark the first year of CNY without mum around.. So yea I can't celebrate CNY but ang pao still can take. Anyone wanna gimme? :D

So what have I been doing during this Feb for CNY celebration? As usual we went back to Grandma house for few days at Seremban. Managed to capture some manja cat photos in her house.

Celebrate Chinese New Year 2014 with Calrsberg's Malaysia

Calrsberg's officially launch a media campaign in conjunction of Chinese New Year celebration at the prestigious Selangor Turf Club (STC) at the auspicious time and date of 11:11am on January 11. Given the cultural significance of the Chinese Zodiac sign of horse in the eyes of the Chinese Community, Calrsberg welcomed the lunar new year by presenting a special horse race named the "Calrsberg Golden Success Cup" to symbolically unleash success and good fortune in leap and bounds for consumers and customer of the brand.

The launch itself was filled with pomp and ceremony that started with the arrival of Calrsberg Malaysia managing director, Henrik Juel Andersen in a horse-drawn chariot to the beat of Chinese drums, followed by the appearance of Gods of Prosperity.

It is worth to mention too that Calrsberg is the official beer sponsor of the promotional roadshow for the CNY movie this year, "Ah Beng - Mission Impossible", a Malaysian production featuring local artistes Jack Lim (Ah Beng), Jeff Chin, Yumi Wong, Gan Mei Yan and Chen Keat Yoke. As a part of the roadshow, the cast will visit 20 Calrsberg affiliated food courts in Klang, Ipoh, Butterworth and other parts of Penang to meet and greet session. Consumers who purchase two buckets of Calrsberg during the activity stand a chance to get an autographed photo of "Ah Beng" and the other stars.

In conjunction of CNY, Calrsberg already begun to share good fortune and prosperity with consumers through ang pow giveaway. Over 80,000 cash prizes are up for grabs now! To participate in the promotion, Calrsberg consumers just need to check the bottle cap liner when they open either a large bottle of Calrsberg, Asahi Super Dry or Royal Danish Stout at participating outlets. With a total of 30 big ang pow of RM8,888 each and 3,000 ang pow worth RM388 each to be given away by February 14. To add excitement to the campaign, consumers who submit a contest form could also stand to win RM888 and bonus prizes. Four bonus round draws will take place during the campaign, where total of 40 units of 50" Sharp LED televisions as bonus prizes can be won! Good things we are given chance to bet for racing in the "Carlsberg Golden Success Cup". Being clueless on how why when what who where about betting, in d end I bet on horses with coolest name haha.. Of course I did not win LOL It was a fresh experience for me in horse betting. At least I learnt something new.

Chinese New Year 2012 Experience

How's everyone Chinese New Year? for me not Huat enough ah. No luck this year, plus i heard the dragon year is pretty bad for those who born year 88, piff...Nevertheless i have fun for the whole week CNY. None stop visiting relative and spend time with friends is fun ;)

On the 30th night, spend time at grandma house. Have awesome dinner with them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After dinner, all of us are anticipating 12am, which mean gonna be 1st day of CNY. Reason is because we are playing firework!!

 

 

 

3rd day of CNY, I am having movie marathon with deary. On 5th day of CNY night, i am having open house session for friends and some gambling session..oh well, luck was on Samuel side.

6th day of CNY went to my chemistry teacher open house. It has been time since i visit her. She still looking good and her "members" are expanding..cough students i mean.

 

Sadly the only attending her house from my batch only 4 of us ;/

 

 

Nevertheless, i have fun whole CNY weeks! Been reli busy having fun and neglected my blog X) Oh well, start for job hunting now! It is February peeps!

Happy Chinese New Year to all my readers!! 

Hope this year of dragon bring more prosperity to u all! Those who working will get paid raise, those who in relationship can marry this year so that next year i can have ang pao, those still planting grapes like me hopefully can get job soon! To summarize, all goes well and end well this year! :D

Yes if u realize i change tat header few weeks back. I use Blue Eyes White Dragon to represent dragon of the year. Why? well because i love Yu-Gi-Oh and BEWD is one of my favourite dragon X)

Not to mention, year of dragon is my year! Yea u guys probably can guess my age. 12 years old kid need more experience and things to learn from u all! :)

Chinese New Year Dinner @ Loong Foong Seafood Restaurant

Hola! been to Melaka for 3D2N and no time to blog. The night before i depart to Melaka, i had dinner with friends. I like it the way we are, less people but still happening. As usual, i dun like huge crowds. Simple enough will do for me :)

Yups..total 9 of us. Thanks to Pennie effort to gathered us. Plus she set the dress code to red or pink..haha Alex is out of the theme. We enjoy the food there. Plus all the portion are large, good enuf for all of us who had huge appetite.
