The Internship Premier Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang I get to watch The Internship Premier Screening before it release in cinema.

THE INTERNSHIP stars Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn as salesmen whose careers have been torpedoed by the digital world. Trying to prove they are not obsolete, they defy the odds by talking their way into a coveted internship at Google, along with a battalion of brilliant college students. But, gaining entrance to this utopia is only half the battle. Now they must compete with a group of the nation’s most elite, tech-savvy geniuses to prove that necessity really is the mother of re-invention.

Well I guess it is a great movie that managed to conveyed message clearly. The story plot is typical, not surprising. Comedy element wasn't that much either as you gonna expect. We're The Millers still better. However, the chemistry between Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn is undeniable strong!

Probably the only things I would love to complain is the ending part where for some unknown reason they managed to hack the big screen and put their dancing face into it (where d heck they have time to do that?) when they are actually late for the submission for the final task. Then they appeared, dance along while flying pizza for people around. The workers in Google just decided to join them and have fun for some reason. Feel wtf

The best part of the whole show for me probably the Professor X :P

Overall, still a great movie but not the comedy type you're looking for if you want to have a great laugh. We're The Millers done better job for that.

We're The Millers Premier Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang I get to watch We're The Millers Premier Screening before it release in cinema.

David Burke (Sudeikis) is a small-time pot dealer whose clientele includes chefs and soccer moms, but no kids—after all, he has his scruples. So what could go wrong? Plenty. Preferring to keep a low profile for obvious reasons, he learns the hard way that no good deed goes unpunished when he tries to help out some local teens and winds up getting jumped by a trio of gutter punks. Stealing his stash and his cash, they leave him in major debt to his supplier, Brad (Ed Helms).

In order to wipe the slate clean—and maintain a clean bill of health—David must now become a big-time drug smuggler by bringing Brad’s latest shipment in from Mexico. Twisting the arms of his neighbors, cynical stripper Rose (Aniston) and wannabe customer Kenny (Will Poulter), and the tatted-and-pierced streetwise teen Casey (Emma Roberts), he devises a foolproof plan. One fake wife, two pretend kids and a huge, shiny RV later, the “Millers” are headed south of the border for a Fourth of July weekend that is sure to end with a bang.

It has been time since I had all this silly character, silly storyline and silly movie. It was pretty good honestly. Solid storyline, great character development for each "Millers" members. If I would to vote, my favourite character goes to Will Poulter as Kenny "Millers". Lucky bastard who get to kiss both Jennifer Aniston and Emma Roberts and also get his balls poison by spider.

Seem like our local censorship board does a great job not cutting any of the scene from the movie. They even pixelated the Will Poulter lanjiao when it was bitten by the spider. Not sure it was pixelated original or it was their work because I remember seeing the trailer in Youtube it was totally exposed. Anyway good job. All the fuck words are clearly heard in this movie.

If I would complain the movie it will probably 2 things. The rapid beard growth for Jason Sudeikis in a day. He just shave at morning and night time already grow out. WOW that escalating quickly. Next would be the useless drug dealer villain, Pablo Chacon who don't immediately shoot down the Millers family when he got two guns with him. Oh he request for strip dance too. Really sei hamsup lou.

Great movie honestly. Good for laughing and relaxing. Catch this at cinema coming this Thursday ;)

Japanese Casual Restaurant Watami Malaysia

Claim to be Japanese Casual Restaurant, Watami really deserved the title. Watami features the delights of modern Japanese cuisine, which include Watami’s original dishes and signature beverages. I am lucky because manage to dine in here during lunch time with the gf in One Utama.

* me & YY *

The first thing attract me was the lunch set menu offered by Watami. The price was pretty neat and reasonable. What amazed me most was the amount of ppl dining in there. It was almost packed. I always believe, good food are deserved to be over populated. Not to mention, their service is good and fast.

* The beverages in the set *

* Salad *

* Miso soup *

Both me and deary ordered Ishiyaki Beef Pepper Rice set (RM17.90) and Ishiyaki Salmon and Tobikko Gohan set (RM19.90). Of course, the set lunch are included salad, soup and beverages.

* Ishiyaki Beef Pepper Rice *

The Ishiyaki Beef Pepper Rice is come together with the stone pot. Noted that it is hot, thus you can control and cook the raw beef meat in the pot. I love this so much. It is spicy but not overly done. It blend well with the rice and beef in the same time and created nice pepper flavor inside the mouth.

* Ishiyaki Salmon and Tobikko Gohan *

* Crab Roe *

Meanwhile, the Ishiyaki Salmon and Tobikko Gohan is Salmon and Crab Roe Rice in stone pot as well. It was topping together with cheese on the salmon raw. Well, according to the gf she like it..oh salmon lover LOL

A very nice dining place with nice environment. I'll be back again with friends :) Good food meant to be share right? Watami is available in One Utama and Pavillion. Of course, you can go Watami Malaysia facebook page and click LIKE ;)

Sakae Sushi Food Tasting

Courtesy of Nuffnang, Gplus and Sakae Sushi, I was served with a blast dinner last friday at 1 Utama. Yupz, if u dunno, the current Sakae Sushi was located at LG in 1U with bigger space and newer technology on their computer.

 * Touch screen yo! *

Being a japanese food lover, obviously the dishes was heaven for me. We were served with 7 main course and 1 dessert. Obviously all dishes and marvelous ;) Thumb up to Sakae Sushi!

* Sakae Salad *

Sakae Salad (RM13.90) is a house specialty salad comprising salmon, crisp garden-fresh greens served with plum dressing. I love this dishes! Is good as a started. In addition, they had tamago and inari skin as well. Plus the Plum sauce, it was perfect combination ;)

* Hotate Mentaiyaki *

Hotate Mentaiyaki (RM20.90) gonna be everyone favourite! It is a juicy scallops grilled with codfish roe and mayonnaise! It so nais that every wish to had it again and want more! 1 of the best scallop i ever had after Tao! The codfish toe is nice to the max!

 * Soft Shell Crab Tempura *

Next we are served with Soft Shell Crab Tempura (RM13.90). I am not really a fans for crab but hey, the shell is so soft and fried to perfect level. I din try the sauce since it was my habit not to eat with any sauce if not needed. Natural taste FTW!

 * Birthday cake!? *

Finally, we are served with 4 in 1 dishes which are Salmon Sushi, Sakae Candle, Snowflake Salmon Delight and Evi Tempura Cheese Maki. Looks like birthday cake rite? LOL

 * Salmon Sushi and Snowflake Salmon Delight *

I bet everyone know what is Salmon Sushi (RM3.99). No need to explain rite? But the reason why the price tag slighly expensive compare to normal Salmon is because they had a thicker salmon skin. Awesome yo! Meanwhile, the Snowflake Salmon Delight (RM9.80) is a rolls of fresh salmon, omelette, japanese cucumber, salmon skin, okaka flakes, mango, plum sauce and mayonnaise in one! It taste nice and i like ;)

 * Sakae Candle *

Sakae Candle (RM10.90) is not really a candle la! It is one of the Sakae signature dishes. It contain crabmeat, avocado, Japanese Cucumber, shrimp roe, codfish roe and mayonnaise in one! Nice presentation isn't it?

 * Ebi Tempura Cheese Maki *

Last but not least, the Ebi Tempura Cheese Maki (RM12.90) was presented with prawn head and tail. The crispy tempura prawn rolls with a luscious finishing of cheese and spicy mayonnaise is mix perfect to the max ;)

 * Pineapple Sorbet *

The dessert that served is known as Sorbet. It is a low fat fruity yo! It came with 3 flavour which are Pineapple (RM10.90), Orange and lemon (RM8.90). I took the pineapple since i dun reli like lemon and orange and it turn out nice! Nicer than eating ice cream LOL. It is one of the best dessert i ever had to complete my meal :)

Well, not to forget, if u guys ever been in sushi shop with me, Inari is not a miss sushi i'll have no matter what! Nothing beat Inari! rawrrr!!

It was an awesome meal i ever had! Would like to thanks to Nuffnang, Gplus and Sakae Sushi again for the wonderful meal ;) i'll be back again to Sakae Sushi!

Chinese New Year Movie Marathon : Mr & Mrs Incredible <神奇俠侶>, All's Well Ends Well 2011 <最强囍事> & I Love Hong Kong <我愛HK開心萬歲>

How's everyone chinese new year? for me i am having fun visiting few friends house around and just had a movie marathon with my love at One Utama. Yeap, like last year, v challenge ourself with 3 movies again this chinese new year. In fact there are too many chinese new year movie i wanna watch heh ;P

First movie we tackle Mr & Mrs Incredible <神奇俠侶>. Been looking on their teaser and trailer for very long and 1 of the movie i looking forward to it!

From the producer of Bodyguards and Assassins and the director who brought you CJ7, comes an action comedy of superhero proportion. This larger-than-life action comedy tells about a retired superhero couple Huan aka the Gazer Warrior (Louis Koo) and Red aka the Aroma Woman (Sandra Ng). One day, a martial arts tournament is being held at their village and a murder case happened. To their surprise, Huan & Red was framed entangled in the murder conspiracy. When they gradually find out the true identity of the mastermind, Huan and Red decide to don their costumes in the name of justice once and for all.

Abit disappointed coz all the teaser and trailer showing me as if hinting me their life as superhero. But it ended up actually showing their life after they retired as superheroes. Neverthless, the story was pretty good and very entertaining! Alot funny joke of coz ;) and woops! Love the Gazer Warrior outfit though abit batman look-a-alike ;P oh BTW, Chapman To made a special appearance as kelefeh XD

Next movie, All's Well Ends Well 2011 <最强囍事>

In the latest instalment of "All's Well Ends Well", Cecilia Cheung acts as a worker in a cosmetic company, who is loved by her boss, played by Louis Koo. And at the same time, a rich man played by Chapman To also falls in love with her. Many hilarious situations happen between the three of them. Meanwhile, Donnie Yen takes up the role of a cosmetics sales clerk who is romantically linked with model Carina Lau Ka Ling's character. Donnie is reported not to have any fight scenes in this movie.

Very disappointed with this movie. It seem All's Well Ends Well series getting worst from each year to each year. Gotta say no solid storyline involve since it focus mainly on 4 main chars, Louis Koo, Donnie Yen, Chapman To and Raymond Wong but it went up kinda messy. No solid relationship built between them. It can like sudden happen they love each other.

However, the only part i love it most was the appearance of Ronald Cheng in this movie! Yes he was not the main cast this time (i believe he can perform better when it comes to comedy movie) but he never failed to entertain me ;)

The movie in d end, of coz All's Well Ends Well! :P

Finally the last movie, I Love Hong Kong <我愛HK開心萬歲>.

A swindler, Long (Eric Tsang), who conned money from all the neighbors of the housing estate 30 years ago, has now become a property tycoon and he promises to pay each of the 30 odd families HK$100 million as compensation. The condition is that all the 30 odd families must each send a representative to return to the housing estate on the eve of Chinese New Year. A mad rush ensues as the old neighbors led by Ng Shun (Tony Leung) and his wife Shun-Soh (Sandra Ng) return to the housing estate on the eve of CNY to ensure they will not miss out on the bonanza!

Probably this is one of the best Chinese New Year movie i watched! Another big production by TVB like last year 72 Tenants of Prosperity, alot big shot TVB artist in the movie. Kinda love the storyline that able to display how harmony and the spirit of helping each other among neighbor. A warm hearted movie :) the dialog i still remember would be "Lei Lou Mei" and "Oh Si" hahaha :P

Tats all CNY movie from me. Pretty tired but worth to be able spend some quality time with my love :)

again, i wish you all HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!! :D
