Dylan Dog: Dead Of Night Premier Screening

Date : Tues, June 07 2011

Venue: TGV, Wangsa Walk

Time: 9.00 PM

Courtesy of Nuffnang and RAM Entertainment, i get to watch Dylan Dog: Dead Of Night before it release. Brought Marilyn again as my movie guest :)

Based on Italian comic book, Dylan Dog (Routh) is an ace detective in New Orleans whose specialty is paranormal cases. Now, he must deal with vampires, werewolves, zombies and a guardian of the Hell, due to a client's case. With the help of Marcus Adams (Huntington), his un-dead assistant, he will have to preserve the sake of the Earth.

My first impression on this movie, MESSY!! But somehow i like it =X is a mixture of Vampire, Werewolf, Zombie and Demon in one world. Somehow i dun like d werewolf appearance, it looks more like Gorilla that change from Super Saiyaman in Dragonball LOL..if they could put effort on the Demon modeling, y not werewolf? piff

Anyway, i heard alot ppl dislike the story. For me, kinda ok, still acceptable, unless u kenot brain too many UNDEAD LIVING under one world. In addition, every this kind of series sure got a joker in! In this movie, Marcus is the Joker, Dylan sidekick partner who died and become Zombie. He is 1 of the element that spies up this movie.

And again, cool looking boss die too easily ;(

Well, if u love all this kinda of fantasy, catch this movie on cinema this thurs! ;)

Hoodwinked Too : Hood VS Evil Premier Screening

Date : Monday, June 06 2011

Venue: Cathay, e@Curve

Time: 9.30 PM

Courtesy of Nuffnang, i get to watch Hoodwinked Too : Hood VS Evil before it release. Brought Marilyn as my movie guest :) Honestly, I felt the concept very interesting and i am looking forward for this movie.

Red Riding Hood is training in the group of Sister Hoods, when she and the Wolf are called to examine the sudden mysterious disappearance of Hansel and Gretel.

Though i am looking forward to it, unfortunately this movie abit disappointed to me. In term of story line, it was ok. However the animation part was not as good as i expected. It doesnt look natural enough and some scene kinda messy if u ask me ;(

So is this movie worth to watch? i'll say yes if u enjoy Twitchy the squirrel that has a lot of screen action and has a lot of hyperactive, funny movements and skills that make all of us laugh like mad ;)

Sen Kee Duck Satay

Been drooling over Duck Satay once I heard from Esther about it since last week. Thus I did abit googling job and found out there is 1 nearby Kepong, called Seng Kee Satay. Being curious over it, asked Victoria and CJ along. And i felt sorry for them because i am doing imperfect job. The address i got from google was located at Taman Desa Jaya. But in fact, they had moved to Desa Aman Puri..We like an idiot round around Taman Desa Jaya for 10~20 min until i manage google about it again and relocate it.

So here we are, Seng Kee Satay! we aim for DUCK of coz! It cost RM0.80 per stick

Here are the colored and textured of the duck satay.

Taste? Ya taste nice but yet, it taste like chicken wtf. Not to mention on first glance the color and texture look like chicken too ;( Honestly 3 of us felt nth taste close to duck =X a plain disappointed was shown on our face....

Some told me they famous with their sauce, i dun reli tried since it has been my habit eat without saunce. I guess, still nothing gonna beat pork satay that i had in Melaka.

But Po's awesome new life is threatened by the emergence of a formidable villain, who plans to use a secret, unstoppable weapon to conquer China and destroy kung fu. It is up to Po and The Furious Five to journey across China to face this threat and vanquish it. But how can Po stop a weapon that can stop kung fu? He must look to his past and uncover the secrets of his mysterious origins; only then will he be able to unlock the strength he needs to succeed.

An honest confession, i never watch the first one b4! >,< well i guess i gonna get my way to watch the first one.
