Popeyes Day @ Popeyes® Louisiana Kitchen

Today is Popeyes day! Well not the popeye the sailorman but I am talking about Popeyes® Louisiana Kitchen. They are having promotion now for 5 pieces of Bonafide Chicken only RM8.99 (original RM16.35). Best deal isn't it?

Being greedy and meat lover, I headed to nearest Popeyes for the promotion with Betina, at Wangsa Walk. Well, we didn't share but we ordered 10 pieces of chickens for only both of us! teehee

A very satisfactory and fat lunch for us. I do love Popeyes chicken more compare to KFC. It is less oily, less spicy but yet, still crispy!

Alvin and the Chipmunks 3 : Chip-Wrecked Movie

Went to had movie with deary last night. Yes she is here ;) Initially wanna go watch in KLCC while walking around there and take a look on Comic Fiesta. However plan A doesnt work since stupid TGV KLCC refuse to have this movie. Thus, change to watch in Wangsa Walk, before heading to G Tower for NAPBAS chill out section with others foreign bloggers. Don't ask me how is NAPBAS because i confirm gonna answer AWESOME! ;) Stay tune for my update about it.

On vacation aboard a luxury cruise ship, Alvin, Simon, Theodore and the Chipettes are up to their usual antics, turning the ship into their personal playground, until they become 'chipwrecked' on a desert island. As Dave Seville frantically searches for his AWOL charges, the 'Munks and Chipettes do what they do best - sing, dance and wreak havoc. But they're in for the biggest surprises and lessons of their lives when they embark on an island adventure with their new friend - a castaway who's more than a match for Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Well, Chipmunks is back! I still remember i watch the 2nd sequel with deary during Christmas back to last 2 years. Like the previous sequel, nice animation, nice fur, nice characteristic and nice CG. Storyline is pretty simple but of course, what important is the moral behind it. Love, responsibility and trust are shown in this movie. Dave love those chipmunks and treat hen them like his own son reli nice feeling there.

 

Somehow i feel it lack of singing this time compare to previous sequel. But still, nice job. Totally can see all kids in cinema are enjoyed the show.

 

 

Catch this in cinema if u dun feel annoyed by the sound of the chipmunks ;)

Horrible Bosses Movie

Went to watch this movie with gf yesterday, courtesy of free tics from TGV ^_^ Heard alot good review from friends, thus give it a try!

For Nick, Kurt and Dale, the only thing that would make the daily grind more tolerable would be to grind their intolerable bosses into dust. Quitting is not an option, so, with the benefit of a few-too-many drinks and some dubious advice from a hustling ex-con, the three friends devise a convoluted and seemingly foolproof plan to rid themselves of their respective employers...permanently. There's only one problem: even the best laid plans are only as foolproof as the brains behind them.

I wonder is this movie inspired by whackyourboss.com ;P Anyway a very nice comedy movie! but not so cool because alot censored scene ;( Guess i need some1 help me get d uncut version. So, ever wanted ur boss dead? I guess i never had tat desire yet ;/ Ok back to the movie. The storyline was pretty well built and abit unexpected. As usual, among trio there will be a most joker character ;P Oh and I wouldn't mind to have a boss like Jennifer Anderson ;X

 

 

 

Watch this movie if u havent..it wun disappoint u ;P

Courtesy of Nuffnang and RAM Entertainment, i get to watch Dylan Dog: Dead Of Night before it release. Brought Marilyn again as my movie guest :)

Based on Italian comic book, Dylan Dog (Routh) is an ace detective in New Orleans whose specialty is paranormal cases. Now, he must deal with vampires, werewolves, zombies and a guardian of the Hell, due to a client's case. With the help of Marcus Adams (Huntington), his un-dead assistant, he will have to preserve the sake of the Earth.

My first impression on this movie, MESSY!! But somehow i like it =X is a mixture of Vampire, Werewolf, Zombie and Demon in one world. Somehow i dun like d werewolf appearance, it looks more like Gorilla that change from Super Saiyaman in Dragonball LOL..if they could put effort on the Demon modeling, y not werewolf? piff

Anyway, i heard alot ppl dislike the story. For me, kinda ok, still acceptable, unless u kenot brain too many UNDEAD LIVING under one world. In addition, every this kind of series sure got a joker in! In this movie, Marcus is the Joker, Dylan sidekick partner who died and become Zombie. He is 1 of the element that spies up this movie.

 

 

 

And again, cool looking boss die too easily ;(

Well, if u love all this kinda of fantasy, catch this movie on cinema this thurs! ;)

TGV Wangsa Walk 1st Anniversary & The Lost Blademan <關雲長> Movie

Woops, without realizing it is TGV Cinema Wangsa Walk 1st year anniversary. Still remember the first movie i watched in TGV Wangsa walk was Ironman 2 ;) Congratulation and Happy Birthday to them! ♥ ♥

On their first anniversary, courtesy of TGV Cinema, they give out 2 movie tickets! Thor and The Lost Blademan. Well since i watch Thor adi, i went to watch The Lost Blademan with Marilyn. Ah she had been my movie partner recently LOL LOL.

Being Malaysian and Kiasu, went too early there to collect my passes on 6pm and then ended up it is free seating LOL LOL. I realize not much ppl wanna watch Donnie Yen movie LOL..most ppl queue for Thor and 4 mins after d passes started to give out, Thor tics completely run out. I am glad i dun need to fight those passes with them hahaha

Manage to chill around at Jaya Jusco and get cheap dinner after that before d movie started at 8.30pm

 

Well, here we go! The Lost Blademan <關雲長>!

The story of Guan Yu's life where he was held captive by warlord Cao Cao and went on a journey by horse to face various obstacles and behead several generals along the way.

If u love the story of 3 kingdom, u might like this side story about Guan Yu. Honestly, abit disappointed on this movie though =X This movie mainly focus on Guan Yu life and how he been manipulate by the face problem Cao Cao LOL..no offense but the actor play Cao Cao dun have d charisma :P Overall most scene will had action inside, but dun expect some action like War type..is more like 1 VS 10 ppl action LOL..Overall storyline was good and direct, if u know the story of Guan Yu :) However, i dun reli think Donnie Yen suite the character Guan Yu though..just my POV :P

 

 

The Lost Blademan <關雲長> is in cinema now. Catch it if u love Donnie Yen or 3 kingdom ;)

Don't Go Breaking My Heart Movie

Just watch this movie with Marilyn just now. It had been long time since i watch HK base romance movie :) recently i only watch their comedy most to relax myself.

Yen is a single girl from China working in an IT company in Hong Kong. Overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of this sleepless city, she feels increasingly like a fish out of water. One day, she notices a handsome hunk, Sean, in the office building across the street from hers trying to catch her attention with paper signs. A quirky romance ensues as she starts communicating with him by paper signs every day. However, it turns out that the love notes Sean has been writing are only meant for a sexy vixen working at the office above hers. Just when Yen is ready to crawl back to her lonesome shell, her fate changes again. She befriends a beggar called Kevin in the park who is actually an elite architect who ended up wandering the streets after losing his self. Yen starts helping him rebuild his confidence and get back on tracks. Months pass. Sean finally gives up his life as a playboy and realizes Yen is the dream girl he would like to spend the rest of his life with. Meanwhile, the rebound Kevin is also planning to propose to Yen at the rooftop of his latest design that was inspired by his love for her. Yen is no longer alone and lonely, but will she be able to find her true love?

Overall, a great movie that involve triangle love..geez kinda remind me of myself but in difference situation. It is really romantic or mayb dump for certain ppl the way they communicate through window by throwing some action, emoticon and words. In the end, the director able to pull back the same way, i called that window communication in the ending. Wish ic ould do tat to some1 someday...if i m rich LOL

 

 

 

Overall, is nice movie and given alot girl a WOW with car, house and romantic scene. For guy? we only WOW on pretty girl i guess =X

My Chritmas Movie Marathon : Gulliver's Travel & Meet The Parents : Little Fockers

How's everyone christmas? hope it is awesome :D..for me i have my awesome outing on christmas day with YY. We went to Wangsa Walk for 2 movies, Gulliver's Travel & Meet The Parents : Little Fockers. All thanks to Cayenne for the 4 TGV complimentary passes ;)
Well since it is christmas and will be packed everywhere, thus selecting Wangsa Walk TGV cinema is the best idea :D

The big-screen adaptation of "Gulliver's Travels" has Jack Black taking on the title role of Lemuel Gulliver, a free-spirited travel writer. During an assignment to the Bermuda Triangle, he suddenly finds himself a giant among men when he is washed ashore on the hidden island of Liliput, home to a population of industrious, yet tiny, people.

I saw the trailer since last few months and i actually put a very high hope on this movie. But it actually disappointed me ;(. It was actually a very lame movie. the comedy part was not developed enuf and not good enuf to make me reli laugh my voice out. The storyline was pretty plain for me. It seriously disappointed me deep down to my heart

Anyway next movie we went was Meet The Parents : Little Fockers

A sequel to "Meet The Parents" and its sequel "Meet The Fockers", "Little Fockers" will revolve around Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) and Pam Byrnes (Teri Polo) trying to cope with raising their five-year old twins. Robert De Niro and Owen Wilson will reprise their roles in this comedy movie wherein De Niro and Jane Rosenthal are serving as producers.

Well to be honest i like this movie very much!! It is very entertaining and have a good family related story line. Ben Stiller did his job pretty good in acting ;). The best word i love from this movie was GodFocker that sound like GodFucker! hahaha..and i like d scene when Greg fight with Jack in his children birthday party. And the scene when Greg put injection on jack Penis! :D :D..best scene ever haha

I would said i love Meet The Parents : Little Fockers more than Gulliver's Travel. I personally dun felt Gulliver's Travel worth to watch in cinema :)

Courtesy to Nuffnang, i get to watch this movie a day b4 it release in cinema. Oh not to mention this was the first time the screening held in TGV, Wangsa Walk! Woops!

In "Skyline", we follow events after a night of partying when a group of friends are distracted by beams of light awakening everyone in Los Angeles and attracting every person like a moth to a flame. As the night progresses, they soon discover that once addicted to the light, one would vanish into thin air, and that extraterrestrial forces are starting to swallow the entire human race.

First of all, i would say is an awesome visual effect movie. The 3D matte painting was awesome and nice. However, i believe there was a technical error with the film roll during the screening. The movie sequence actually was not follow the flow but is totally mess up. All of us get to watch the ending in the first 30 min. The sequence was actually from starting went to ending then went to middle then went back to minor portion of starting and finally back to final scene of ending.

So tell me, how could i enjoyed the movie when i already know the ending in the first 30 min? i get to see tat 2 joker been suck up by alien in d end in d first 30 min. So, my first experience watching premier screening in TGV Wangsa Walk was totally disappointed..piff

Anyway, i believe the story line was actually quite interesting..try to catch up in cinema now will ya? ;)

Just Simple

I'll say today have a plain and simple outing with my gf. Just had a movie and lunch only for the half day and as a celebration of her belated birthday. We went to Wangsa Walk for a movie.

initially i wanted to watch Piranha, but since she dun love gross and bloody movie, thus we choose this. Yea i havent watch it actually =X..and what surprise us are throughout the whole cinema, only 4 ppl. Me, my gf, a lonely malay guy and the cinema worker. Thanks god we arent watching any ghost movie LOL

Another vampire spoof comes to life in "Vampires Suck", from Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, the guys responsible for other popular spoof flicks such as "Date Movie", "Epic Movie", "Disaster Movie" and "Meet The Spartans". In the movie, teenager Becca (Jenn Proske) finds herself torn between two boys (Matt Lanter & Chris Riggi). As she and her friends wrestle with a number of different dramas, everything comes to a head at their prom.

I'll say wasn't as good as i expected. The storyline kinda lame and not much joke i love. Probably bcoz cinema too little ppl and i dun dare laugh tat much LOL. But the actor for jacob and edward look more handsome compare to the original..haha

Later brought my gf to lunch at Restaurant 4 happy season. We get our seat at Winter section. The service still as suck as usual ;(. Ordered my Chicken Maryland and waited for 30 min only arrived..piff

Well, tats what we did whole half day. Pretty plain huh. Plus i pretty not feeling well today..guess i gonna sick soon...sigh
