That day, i decided not to bring my D60 but XZ-1..and sadly battery not enuf for the long night after running away from AMF concert T__T...Nevertheless, i lost count how many times i have attended Hennessy Artistry. It still an awesome event with awesome people around ;)

Cant wait for the next Hennessy Event! This time i din manage to capture any stage performance..or i should said i dun plan to captured it after a long concert in AMF b4 this. Anyway, i do enjoy myself to the max that day :) for those who saw me that nite, u'll know what i mean LOL LOL

Hennessy Artistry 2011 Happening at The Opera, Sunway Pyramid

OMG! I cant believe this! The most happening and awesome event, Hennessy Artistry is back! This time its 2011 series in Penang at Voodoo, Upper Penang Road on April 28. Promising a colourful blend of music, delectable Hennessy V.S.O.P long drinks, and a party atmosphere that is second to none, Hennessy Artistry will then head down to Klang Valley in The Opera, Sunway Pyramid two days later on April 30. With a new logo, a brand new Facebook page, and a new interactive Hennessy Mixing Zone, 2011’s party series will allow revellers to be involved in a much more fun, engaging and experiential role. The event will see a blend of musical talents from Malaysia and Australia belting it out on a night that promises to be bold, daring, and fresh, ultimately, culminating in a blend of urban sounds and cultures that come together through electrifying performances that will leave guests awestruck and craving for more.

Leading the line-up at the upcoming Hennessy Artistry party is Australian electro/house duo, Vandalism which comprises of DJ/Producer Andy Van (previously of Madison Avenue fame) and vocalist/songwriter Cassie Van. With distinctive sounds and head turning live performances, Vandalism has over the past two years toured across the globe playing in gigs in London, Miami, Ibiza, Moscow, Greece, South Korea, and Canada. Making their debut on the Hennessy Artistry stage, Australia’s leading electro/dance outfit is ready to infect the dance floors of Voodoo and The Opera come April with Andy tearing up the decks while Cassie belts out some show stopping sexy vocals.

Staying true to Hennessy Artistry’s innovative approach in blending musical genres of the East and West, the upcoming party will also see Malaysia’s very own up and coming rock sensations, Kyoto Protocol conquering the stage. Formed by a group of angsty but fun-loving guys, they combine their varied influences ranging from The Clash to Queens of the Stone Age to create an eclectic mix of punk, soul and electro. With an array of accolades already in their caps, these rock darlings will be looking to conquer the famed Hennessy Artistry stage through some of the most infectious and addictive tunes the country has ever heard.

Joining them at the party are two of the hottest female DJs in town, Miss Eva T and DJ Lizz. Together, they form Spinderella, a hip-hop, R&B, electro/house spinning duo that churns out tunes which are unique and fresh. Ready to rock any crowd off the ground, Spinderella has set their sights in bringing the house down with their signature club, electro, and house tunes.

Whilst its trademark Hennessy Mixing Bar remains to serve guests with the ever tantalizing Hennessy V.S.O.P signature long drinks, the rest of the area will feature new interactive zones which include the Hennessy iMix Challenge for iPad enthusiasts and Hennessy Music Mix Synth booths that encourages the blending of different musical genres to encapsulate the true spirit of Hennessy Artistry’s ‘The Global Art of Mixing’.

The Hennessy Interactive Photowall is also upgraded in 2011 to allow guests to enhance their photos digitally by choosing different visual backgrounds and shout out phrases such as “Hennessy Rocks”, “Show me the Hennessy” and “I Love Hennessy”.

Party-goers coming into the party this year will receive a new radio-frequency identification (RFID) wristband that allows them to log on to their respective Facebook accounts and automatically post their activities as status updates whenever they scan their wristbands onto a RFID reader located at each Hennessy Mixing booth. In addition, photos of guests taken at the Hennessy Interactive Photowall will be uploaded onto Hennessy Artistry’s official Facebook fan page at www.h-artistry.com.my/facebook upon which, guests can also instantaneously tag themselves on the photos using their RFID wristband.

Indoors meanwhile will see the complete revolutionizing of the arena into one world-class super-club set-up. Both Voodoo and The Opera will feature a new look providing guests with a refreshed experience and the much loved Hennessy bars that will be serving delectable concoctions of Hennessy Apple, Hennessy Berry, Hennessy Ginger, and Hennessy Citrus.

Hennessy Artistry : The Opera Edition

Eventhough the event was held at The Opera, but the response is overwhelming! People dun bother the location as long as they get to enjoy the party (FYI, Opera is kinda small but it built up to 3 floors level)!

As i mention before, the event is cool but not awesome yet. Looking forward for more exciting HA event as v all been informed there gonna b 6 HA event in this year (5 more to go). I hope they have the grant 1 like last year :). In addition, dun reli get to drink much..the free flow ran out on 11pm..T__T

Attended Hennessy Artistry Press Conference and the event itself last night at The Opera. It was a cool event but not as awesome as previously i went. Ok mayb bcoz d time i went was the most grant 1 in the year..LOL

Hennessys Artistry 2010 is back! at The Opera!

Oh yes Hennessy Artistry is back in Malaysia! Huh? U dunno what is Hennessy Artistry?? Hennessy Artistry is a global musical phenomenon blending musical talents from the East & West! Which mean you will have chance to meet ur favorite artist from East & West! Well, not to mention there will be awesome Hennessy Mixers from the bar! :P

I still remember the very first Hennessy Artistry i went last year at Bukit Kiara. It was great performance from local and foreign artist and i enjoy my night so much! Click here & here for my previous experience with Hennessy Artistry :D

This time Henessy Artistry not gonna miss out some great performance from various artist as well! Those celebrities are

Tokyo based DJ Sarasa!She is also known as Silverboombox. She is a producer and has produced all of the sounds for Nike Europe Nike ID (troupe) website and as well as working with artiste such as Elzhi (slum village), Raekwon (Wu Tang Clan) and Masia One. You can expect a climatic performance that will have any audience go wild! She will bring the house down with her blend of highly-energetic Hip Hop, Funk, Disco, Soul, Breakbeats and House Music!

Next is Shawn Lee! Met him for the first time at Celcom Blackberry event back to last year and i experience live beatbox for the first time. It was awesome and reli open my eyes :D. FYI, he is Malaysia's Number 1 beatboxer and also represented Malaysia in the National Beatbox Battle World Championship at Berlin and was ranked 9th in the competition with 45 contestents from 40 different countries!

Not to miss out, Bunk Face! Malaysia's local band which has struck the hearts of Malaysians with their songs such as "silly lily" and "through my window". Their song "Silly lily" was #1 on Hitz.fm's Malaysia's top 10 for 8 weeks and #1 on Fly.fm's campur charts for 10 weeks!

Last but not least DVJ G Mix! He is one of the individuals in the country that can "visualize sound". Awesome yo! i cant wait to c his performance in live! :D

Well, the fun aren't stop at here! more to go! Setting the tone for the party at Opera is the Hennessy Mixing Zone which gets a facelift and will feature four new and improved zones – the Hennessy Mix Master, Hennessy Mixing Bar, the Hennessy Digital Light Art Effects, and a Hennessy Live Twitting Zone.

Hennessy Mix Master!

For those who have always wanted to be a DJ, the ‘Hennessy Mix Master’ would be the perfect platform to do so. Here, fans would be guided by a professional DJ which will be helping them uncover their hidden talents and creativity in music producing. Their tracks will then be uploaded onto the official H-Artistry website (www.h-artistry.com.my) where organizers will then select the top 20 tunes and reward the winners with a bottle of Hennessy VSOP each. The producer of the top-ranked track will also be walking away with an iPod Touch. Winners will be notified within 3 weeks after the event.

Hennessy Mixing Bar

In the same time, party-goers can also expect some fresh flavours when enjoying Hennessy VSOP at the Hennessy Mixing Bar!. Besides the signature Hennessy Apple and Hennessy Ginger cocktails, the upcoming Hennessys Artistry will also feature two new long drinks: Hennessy Citrus and Hennessy Berry!

Hennessy Digital Light Art Effects

Love creative and design! No fear! with Hennessy Digital Light Art Effects, fans would be able to express their creativity and discover their artistic side as they create and design their own Hennessy VSOP desktop wallpapers using light technology and video projections.

Hennessy Live Twitting Zone

Finally for twitter freak like me or majority of Hennessy Artistry fans glued in to twitter, this will be the first time that "Hennessy Live Twitting Zone" will be added into the party at opera. Twitterers would be able to update their status which will then be broadcasted live throughout the whole event!
