Wong Fu Mini Symposium

Back to few days, there was Wong Fu hype everywhere in Malaysia. Yeap, the boys are coming to Malaysia. I attended their Mini Symposium last Saturday with deary Courtesy of Nuffnang at Taylor University.

It was held at one of the Taylor's lecturer hall, good enough to fit in all the audiences. What i expecting from this Mini Symposium is more on technical base rather than story telling. But oh well, thing's doesn't happen like I expected.

One of the funny things was Ted wasn't able to came Malaysia. However he did a short video to send the message to all the fans. What make me ROFLMAO most is the picture he Photoshop himself with Najib. Oh and also Bat U Cave..if you know what I mean ;P

 

The event goes on with some question asked by the organizer regarding some of their videos, music videos and so on so forth. Not to mention some Q&A session by fans. Can really see how fanatics all the fans are.

 

I did a video recording unfortunately i don't have high speed connection to upload it..huhuhu anyone with Unifi wanna upload for me? ;(

 

I have to be honest I am not really enjoy the symposium session. I was expecting more exposure but too bad, not what I hope. Not to mention some questions ask by fans are...If you know what i mean ;)

Project Revive

Theme : Lend us a hand, Give them a hope
Date :4 Nov 2010 (Thursday)
Time :7.30 till 11pm
Venue :Multipurpose Hall, Taylor’s University, Lakeside Campus.

If you are asking what is Project Revive, it is a Charity Concert + Dinner to Raise funds for Precious Home orphanage and BARIO Project and to provide a platform for youth to perform their hidden talents. Organised by Taylor’s University Student Council (TUSC) of coz ;)

Again, if u r asking what is BARIO Project, it is the Kelabit, at approximately 5,000 people, is one of the smallest ethnic groups in Bario, Sarawak. Bario is located in the centre of the Kelabit Highlands in the north east of Sarawak, Malaysia. Like many other indigenous communities in Sarawak, the Kelabit live in longhouses in the highlands. However, due to economic and social factors, many have migrated to live in urban areas over the last 20 years.

Approximately, 1,200 Kelabit are still living in the highlands. Bario lack constant supply of basic utilities. Besides the Celcom network coverage, there is no telecommunication service provided at Bario. Water supply is through gravity-fed system and thus they rely on rainwater and river water for their supply. Limited electricity supply is provided through diesel generators and solar-panels. Kids at Bario also lack basic facilities that are required for boarding and schooling.
Bario Project is a Taylor’s Corporate Social Responsibility project.

Fly Kite Day with ChurpChurp

Well, this event happened after the meeting with Nuffnang Gliteratti Plus. It was a saturday with beautiful blue sky and cloud. We get to play kite with other churpers inside Taylor's Uni. Yes, we play inside there, not a field =X

Well, it was a nice weather (or mayb too hot) to play kite with. I have so much fun wif it. It was totally bring backs memory. I dun remember when d last time i play kite (oh wait i did i actually play kite b4?). But still, there are some first timer here such as Tim XP.

Abit regret for not bringing my own personal kite that reli big in size. Not cheap wither XP..

The wind wasn't that good that day. It keep changing direction and strength. However nothing gonna stop me from playing it. I manage to fly up my kite reli high for once only. Well, it was reli fun ;D

Another leisure day after outing with friends on last sat at Time Square. Definitely worth my time. I seldom go out done such activities ;D..hope churpchurp have more this kind of outing in future :D

Nuffnang Glitterati Plus Open Meeting

I attended the meeting last sat. It was my first time been in Taylor's uni since d meeting was set to b there. Fetch Joshua & Shannon to there. Appreciated Shannon to b my live navigator on that day.

being in Nuffnang for around 2 years, i would said i never regret. I love this community, i love their awesome nuffies :)..and i love my life being blogger that able to meet up wif difference ppl during events.

After the meeting a bunch ppl went to Wong Kok Restaurant to celeb Joshua birthday. Yeap his bday was on that day itself :). Of coz we get free huge giant tea for d birthday boy XP

Next we followed the bunch to tour Taylor's. Basically i prefer walk and tour alone but i guess i am too lazy that time. I guess thanks to my assignment..
