My first impression on this movie poster...ASSASSIN CREED in black cloth! LOLL..nevertheless, courtesy of Nuffnang, i get to watch Priest before it release this thurs. Brought Genee as my movie guest :)
A western-fused post-apocalyptic thriller, is set in an alternate world --one ravaged by centuries of war between man and vampires. The story revolves around a legendary Warrior Priest (Paul Bettany) from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity among the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. When his niece (Lily Collins) is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires, Priest breaks his sacred vows to venture out on an obsessive quest to find her before they turn her into one of them. He is joined on his crusade by his niece‟s boyfriend (Cam Gigandet), a trigger-fingered young wasteland sheriff, and a former Warrior Priestess (Maggie Q) who possesses otherworldly fighting skills.
Pretty good movie though. Got a very solid storyline in my point of view. However i dislike the vampire design! I dun remember it same wif which movie, daybreak mayb? that the vampire design doesnt have eye and monstrous features. It looks more like imp or gargoyle for me ;X However the final pboss is d regular vampire we use to know LOL..It full with nice action pack and some nice CG inside. Howveer, the movie just running around 90 minutes..so short eh?? and was expecting there will be sequel in this movie
Catch up in cinema if u love vampire story ;)
