Samsung Malaysia officially launched Galaxy Note II @ Zebra Square KL

I believe Samsung Galaxy Note is no stranger to everyone. The successor, Samsung Galaxy Note II finally arrived Malaysia shore and just officially launched tonight at Zebra Square KL.

Honestly I wasn't impressed with tonight presentation. It wasn't as awesome as the launch of Samsung Galaxy S III. The venue is small and packed.

They did not demo much on Samsung Galaxy Note II function. Is just a quick touch and go.

If you are clueless about Samsung Galaxy Note II, here are the key features/specification :

What distinguish between this and Galaxy S III was the extra software features :

• Pop Up Note - allows S Note to be opened as a pop-up window anywhere on screen,\.
• Multiwindow - multitask by having apps opened in a single screen.
• Pop Up Video - Extended version of Samsung Galaxy S III Pop Up Play where video become a floating window on display with the touch of a button, allowing it to be repositioned to any part of the screen.

Honestly the main thing that attracted me was the Multiwindow. Unfortunately the firmware on the demo set wasn't updated, thus i have no chance to experienced it. It would be very cool thing to have. Imagine facebook and twitter on same time?

Another main attraction of Galaxy Note II was none other than the wacom stylus, S Pen. As a designer itself, I cant help it but took the S Pen and have a quick draw. Oh well, I know my drawing sucks but hey it is fun to doodle around.

The new Samsung Galaxy Note II will be available in Marble White and Titanium Gray on 19th October 2012 with retail price of RM2299. Celcom, Digi and Maxis will have bundle plan.

New Restaurant Ipoh Chicken Rice @ Jalan Gasing

On a very traffic jam night, it was an impromptu plan that have dinner with le gf. Reason is I have to drive all the way to KWSP building to print out my EPF slip. Since we are around, might as well get some dinner before headed home? Thus, we are in this place, New Restaurant Ipoh Chicken Rice.

No, the new is not mean is new shop but is the shop name, New..Oh well whatever. For me, I never fancy on ipoh chicken rice in KL. I would rather go all the way to Ipoh to get the authentic one because I know those in KL 1 will be suck and overrated. Even the hawker stall near my office or in SS2 sell better chicken rice than those.

I always believe in giving second chance. Because of this believe, I went in to try and finally, I am deep disappointed. This is what we ordered on that night.

* Quarter Kampung Chicken RM18 *

Somehow I felt been cheated. The quarter kampung chicken we ordered doesnt justify the price and the size as well. It is so little that even KFC dinner plate or Nandos quarter chicken look much worth it. Not to mention, the chicken meat seem to be too tight AKA hard to chew and bite. I not sure is they cook enough or they using old chicken. le gf complain the sauce is too salty although I seem to have higher salt tolerance than her.

* Fried Roasted Pork RM15 *

Fried roasted pork seem ok and abit spicy. At least it has much portion than the chicken and it actually tasted not bad. le gf also complain again the pork a little bit salty. I actually whack finish the pork itself rather than eat the chicken.

Total damage RM43.05. Holy cow with the price dinner for 2 I would rather spend it on japanese restaurant like Watami (I just had it on last Monday) or I can buy 3 plate of KFC dinner plate.

Ironically their pork is much better than chicken...Why not change name to New Restaurant Ipoh Pork Rice?

Oktoberfest party @ The Clover Pub‏

The Octoberfest officially kick start! This whole month gonna be beer drinking season and grow beer belly. Nevertheless, I have my first official Octoberfest celebration at Clover Pub last Friday.

Too bad Clover Pub promotion is limited. We have to order 4 cup of beers and get a plate of food that only have 2 sandwiches, 3 sausages and 5 fish balls. The sausages is nice though.

Local band are performing on whole night but somehow some of them are pretty irritated.. When I feel the music/singing is irritated, mean they are bad singer for me. I believe everyone experiences the same on that night..ahaha

Anyway picture with friends time! Not much of us but we kinda enjoy small companies. It allowed us chit chat more.

I was invited for the food pairing session as title below. Feel blessed for getting so many food review recently. This world too many nice food around and we live to eat..oh well at least for me :P

The event took place exactly on my birthday. Well if you read my birthday post you will know I got a surprise ambushed from friends. If you havent read, READ NOW! I demand! Muahahaha!!

Club Asahi @ Butter Factory

On a very random night, I was invited to Butter Factory to clubbing with every Asahi fans! Not to mention the dj feat Shinichi Osawa. I don't clubbing for everyone information but that night was officially blast. My feet pain like shit hahaha...oh also this post gonna be tribute my short hair for d first time after so many years..oh well ;/

I have not much to say about this party. Just one word, AWESOME! Plus with friends around who most of them are party animal, it makes my experience much favourable. The event is so pack with people dancing around and dj rocking in the house that night! Shinichi Osawa is awesome as well of course.

Overall, it was awesome night but only one complain.. Butter Factory is so small that can't even produce large quantity of butters..oh wait dafuq am I talking
