If Old One Didn't Go, New One Won't Come Part 4

Ohh I wonder how long ago since I did this kind post. I was way year 2010 I think. Sadly, one of my most important things just gone from me :( My Transcend 16GB class 10 SD card that I just bought last year from Amazon during black friday. I bought 2 and both decided to get corrupted when I using cheapo card reader. Thanks God I manage to save 1 of them and another one just certificated death. Couldn't open it at all nor restore back all my photos :(

Sigh..there are few food reviews and event photos still inside the main card that already death :( Sad die me and I have no idea how to blog about it. Gotta steal pictures from people already.

Nevertheless, something gone and something coming in right? Well not brand new memory card coming in until I see a cheap deal. It is new lens addition to my family. Oh gosh I know I am easily poisoned person but! I finally got myself my dream lens :D Panasonic 7-14mm F4! The one and only ultra wide angle lens for micro four third system..oh wait still got Olympus 9-18mm F4-5.6 but doesn't matter coz I got a cheap deal for Panasonic.

Love the wide angle lens :D My first wide angle lens after Olympus 12mm f2. Somehow I think this lens and 12mm gonna be permanently mounted on my camera body :P

Thanks to friend who I get to know from micro four third group in FB informing a cheap deal of this lens at Penang. Also coincidentally he is coming KL on weekend. Thus, I quickly request him get me the lens and I met him in KL to collect my lens. Excited!

Manage to grab the lens on 2 days ago and yesterday done a shutter therapy with friends at Klang and I use this lens for the first session. Will post up the model shooting soon and here some photos taken by Panasonic 7-14mm ;)

Guess I can die happily again. No more spending this year! I had spend alot :( HK trip is getting nearer and i shall enjoy taking photo using my new lens there. Seriously, I think I could just all the way bring 7-14mm to there enough already ;) What say you?

Panasonic 20mm f1.7

Been eye-ing on this lens since i got myself Baby Zeekon. Not one of the best lens but what i like that fact is 20mm (FF 40mm) with fast aperture.

My Zeekon look smaller once mount on it. Well, it is a pancake lens afterall. However the auto focus slower with this lens but, i still able to accept it as long as it perform well. The motor tend to make more sound when auto focusing. Not a big deal for me too ;P

Nevertheless, I am happy to finally able to get this lens for myself. I think i'll mount on this lens more often for casual use instead of kit lens! yayy!!

Next target, either Pana 7-14mm or...i just buy wide angle adapter LOL

Camera For My Beloved

Still remember my previous post regarding the Lumix TZ-8? It was for this purposes actually. My gf been wanting a DSLR (oh yes is dslr) for quite some time but she not willing to spend money to get it as in she afraid she will seldom use it and leave it wif fungus.

Thus i made up my mind and decision to save/earn hard to get her a camera. Well, i dun plan to get her DSLR since i knew most girl dun like to carry a big ass around everytime everywhere. Thus i start researching from compact camera to semi pro camera. Which affordable for me la of coz.

After pick drop and pick drop, finally i made up my mind and get her Panasonix Lumix DMC TZ-10! I pick TZ-10 instead of TZ-8 coz i couldn't find TZ-8 at market..wtf..i trying to fool my gf actually by giving her the model of Tz-8. Wanted to c her funny reaction 1st b4 giving her the real 1. But she is too smart to realize it was fake b4 she open the wrapper. Coz she stalk my twitter previously..geez

Well, TZ-10 might not as great as LX3 but the reason i pick TZ-10 over LX3 coz of this few factors :

1) TZ10 got 300mm zoom and LX3 got 60mm zoom only
2) TZ10 lighter and smaller - can fit in pocket
3) TZ10 movie capability is 30fps and LX3 24fps
4) TZ10 is cheaper than LX3 though by chip in abit i can get LX3
5) TZ10 got RED color and LX3 dun have XD
6) TZ10 got GPS

However, mayb the fact i mentioned is not a big deal for certain ppl. What's d difference between TZ10 and LX3?

1) LX3 got a better f stop (2~2.8) compare to TZ10 (3.3~4.9)
2) LX3 got 1 higher ISO stop, 3200 compare to TZ10, 1600
3) LX3 got hot shoe to put flash
4) LX3 support RAW
5) LX3 wider (24mm) than TZ10 (25mm)

other than tat, TZ10 is pretty cool camera. I guess the main reason also coz of the ability to zoom till 300mm. The only things doesnt impress me is the noise reduction. Is kinda sucks when ISO 400 and above was use. Well, i guess it doesnt matter if the photo wasn't for large printing purposes.

Finally, i am glad my gf love this camera :D..and i was joking about selling off my dslr and get this camera instead. I still love my Baby KonKon alot :P

I spend my 2 days on doing this model using modeling board. Why am i doing this model? Hehe God know :P
