Assignment War : Day 8

Remember my painting assignment? remember that bloody giant gigantic size of illustrator board? Guess what? I FINALLY complete d PAINTING in studio today! hahahaha...

it was reli tough but i quite satisfied wif d outcome =)...Mr Rini asked us to submit within this week..so i brought back home and plan to submit it on this coming wednesday. Anyway, reli thx alot to Mr Rini for teaching me patiently. He reli open my eyes.

I from a noob (who dunno use water color) now have become amateur in painting, haha..i guess not bad for my skill as now. Any1 interested buy my painting? haha..

Anyway, painting class officially ended. Now left drawing class and next week will be my final exam. I was in hols mood adi now..cant wait to spend my time wif my dear!

Assignment War : Day 1

Last sat i juz bought a new thing for my hair, known as Moving Rubber.
Then on sun, my sis help me do my hair and it cause me.....LOOKS LIKE LALA! OMG! lol...too hiperbola adi and i cant accept it XD..so this morning i try an experiment on myself..here d experiment :

Cool? I hope so XD. So i wif d WTF hair went to Uni as usually today for painting class. Today is my painting class final assignment. V requirement to use Acrylic Color to paint on Illustration Board. FIY, Illustration Board was bigger than A1 paper!! OMG!! So damn big!!

So all of us brought our own picture for painting. I brought a semi-snow mountain scenary. After that, for a sudden Mr Rini ask us to get a human figure pic to attach into d scenary. It was like a photoshop d picture but not using software, but manually. So since mine is snow mountain, i managed to found Boa pic, wearing winter clothes. It 100% match d scenary! hahaha! lucky me..

So we started our painting and GOSH!!! D board is so so so so BIG!! Juz paint for d half board already kill me! I spend more than 3 hours juz to paint d 1st layer. I use alot green tube today and..guess what? My green tube KO adi...hahahaha...d whole board take over my 1 green tube color..so sad...!!

So all of us couldn't finish d painting on time. So being no choice all of us have to carry d thing back to our home to continue d work. V going to submit this assign by next week or 8th dec. I wanna finish it as soon as possible so tat i no need purposely come on 8th dec coz v already hols tat time..lol

So i carry this board and when i taking putra, d stupid LRT on breakdown again! Luckily it doesnt stop for 20 min on each station instead 5 min..phew! Or else i'll die of sweating and anger...hahaha..Imagine carry a giant object and u get trap inside LRT...sure piss u off..lol

This coming wed is Drawing class final assign. I guess i going to choose human figure =)...wish me luck!!

Painting Class : Pointillism

Water Color session end! finally today i have chance to use acrylic color. Well, acrylic is almost like water color but it dry very very very very fast! >,<...i put alot in palette today and without realizing it dry out! SHit! >,<


so today Mr Rini taught us Pointillism technique. What is pointillism?

Pointillism is a style of painting in which non-primary colors are generated, not by the mixing of pigments in the palette nor by using pigments directly, but by the visual mixing of points of primary colors, placed in close proximity to each other.

Originally developed by Neo-Impressionist Georges Seurat, the movement is also associated with Paul Signac, Henri-Edmond Cross, and Vlaho Bukovac.

When viewed from a distance, the points or dots cannot be distinguished, and blend optically into each other. This means that with the same set of primaries, pointillists generate a different range of colors when compared to artists using traditional colors or color-mixing techniques. The result is sometimes described as brighter or purer since the eye does the mixing and not the brush. An explanation for this could be sought in the subtractive and additive theories of color.

One of Seurat's sketches for Grand Jatte, 1888Usually when colors are produced by pigments being mixed physically, the subtractive color theory is at work. Here the mixing of pigments of the primary colours produces less light; so if we mix red, blue and yellow pigments(subtractive primaries), we get a colour close to black. However when colours are produced by the mixing of light, then the additive color theory is at work. Here the mixing of lights of the three primary colours produces more light; so if we mix red, blue and green light(additive primaries) we get something close to white light. The brighter effect of pointillist colours could rise from the fact that subtractive mixing is avoided and something closer to the effect of additive mixing is obtained even through pigments.

The brushwork used to perform pointillistic color mixing is at the expense of traditional brushwork which could be used to delineate texture. Color television receivers and computer screens, both CRT and LCD, use tiny dots of primary red, green, and blue to render color, and can thus be regarded as a kind of pointillism.

Alright, enough or understanding and history of pointillism. Here my painting today.

I know it looks sucks, but lecturer praise my technique. hehe..i'll try again next week!

Painting + Drawing = Presentation

Alright, it have been a time since i show off my painting skill since last time XD..what to do, i gotta train up myself to be the best so that i able to show u guys my hidden talent XD..so here come my latest painting. I did it for almost 4 hours yesterday at home (It show that how slacking i am..this task was given by my lecturer b4 deepavali...sigh)



Yupz! V are learning to paint human figure now. Though my work not so perfect yet, but i believe i m improving (alot say so XD). Few more lesson to go for painting class, i believe i can do it! This work suppose to hand out to lecturer today but he cancel his class..so, i m totally free today...lol...been gaming d whole day in house ~___~..


However this morning i went to Central Market. If u guys still recall, i went Central Market last sat to order a portrait for Mr Ho. Well, i'll keep d best for d last =P..so i juz show u guys partial part of Mr Ho.



How? His eyes sexy leh! Can "shock" u until faint XD..hahaha

OMG! Tmrw is Moral Studies presentation! I havent get any script for myself yet..so i have to "jap sang" adi..sigh..i swear to myself..Next time muz choose "kakilang" as team member adi...no eyes to c those "kukulang" felor

Painting Class

Finally! Painting class officially begin! it was once a week on mon from 12pm till 6pm..6 hours killingspree @_@...as i expected, this painting class required WATER COLOUR, my biggest weakness in painting.. seriously i reli dunno use water colour for painting...

well, after today class i would like to say, watercolouring not bad at all =P...
here is my painting. Dun laugh ah! Hahaha..i'll learn more about it. i got confidence my technique will improve once i was given a proper teaching
