Monster University Premier Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang, I get to watch Monster University before it release on cinema!

  • Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan are an inseparable pair, but that wasn’t always the case. From the moment these two mismatched monsters met they couldn’t stand each other. “Monsters University” unlocks the door to how Mike and Sulley overcame their differences and became the best of friends. Screaming with laughter and fun, “Monsters University” is directed by Dan Scanlon (“Cars,” “Mater and the Ghostlight,” “Tracy”) and produced by Kori Rae (“Up,” “The Incredibles,” “Monsters, Inc.”).

Oh btw we watch this in MBO Citta Mall, hall 1 and to my surprise the cinema is super nice and unique! The seats all are couple seats. I was informed that the cinema screen resolution are 4k and i believe so since the color are very vivid and sharp on screen! Not to mention the sound system are badass and good enough to create vibration on our seats. I wouldn't mind return the hall again for another movie next time :D

Never watch the first one but after watching this, I am tempted to watch the 1st movie :P Nevertheless, Monster University are interesting since we get to see a bunch of difference monster and they are having life similar to us, attending class. Not to mention difference type of major as well. Great story telling, great character development and great friendship displayed in this prequel. I admit it is still predictable but still, awesome ;)

I don't think I got any major complain on this movie. I enjoy it very much. It is a type of lively cartoon I wouldn't mind to watch again.

Catch this on cinema now. I am sure your kids will like it too ;)

Wreck-It Ralph Premier Screening

Courtesy to Nuffnang I get to watch Wreck-It Ralph Premier Screening last night.

Wreck-It Ralph, an action-packed, visually stunning CG comedy set in contrasting worlds that are like nothing ever before seen on the big screen, is produced by Clark Spencer ("Lilo & Stitch," "Bolt"), the story of an arcade game Bad Guy determined to prove he can be a Good Guy. Taking fun and games to a whole new level, the film smashes into theaters Nov. 29, 2012, and will be presented in Disney Digital 3D® in select theaters.

Been waiting and anticipating this movie for very long! I know the gamer blood in myself i boiling to watch this because most of our childhood video game is in! Unfortunately this is not some sort of crossover film that everyone combine power and fight evil (though that's what I wish for actually for the final batlle with the cy-bugs). It is focus more on Ralph and Vanellope.

Honestly I pretty like the concept and idea behind. Who would tod of all this video game characters are acting on their own when the arcade is close? The story is pretty amazing to begin with but sadly the dynamic stop on middle of the show. It lack of humour and slap stick comedy that I was expecting.

Character development pretty much focus on how Ralph discover his true self eventhough he is playing as a bad guy. The heroic superman pose he perform at the end of the battle do actually touched my heart a little. As in "OMG Is he ready to sacrifice himself??" Nah cartoon always happy ending anyway.

Overall, a little disappointment on this movie but it is still enjoyable. Catch this movie on cinema tmrw with your kid. I am sure they will love it ;)

Hantu Gangster Movie

Just back from watching this movie courtesy of Jess for the ticket.

A small town located in Klang, a rogue named Te Sai unknowingly stole a ring during a memorial ceremony of a group of gangster. The ring hosts three ghosts (the former gangster leaders) and the three ghosts haunt Te Sai. Te Sai soon finds out that the three gangster leaders were killed by a traitor (Ewan) with his personal agenda that will threatened the decades of unity between three groups. With the guidance from three ghosts, Te Sai must do what he cans to unify the gang and avoid a tragedy that may result in deaths of many innocent people.

Yupz, it is another production from Namewee! I am looking forward for this movie after his debut of Nasi Lemak 2.0 which i hope it is good. Overall, the movie is funny, lame but, not impactful enough. The message in the movie, which is integration among Malay, Chinese and Indian doesnt
strong. Not memorable at least.

Other than that, bravo for every actors performance in the movie. I do really enjoy their acting as in they are really the character itself. The most memorable character is not Namewee himself, but one of the gangster from chinese who has metal dick. He use his dick to stab and killed, really lame but ROFL in the same time.

The three ghosts in the movie not helpful at all beside just keep seeking for help from Te Sai. One of the scene I am pretty confuse was they said it is wrong for Te Sai to help the Ewan and he has to take responsibility. Wait, now what did Te Sai did to help Ewan wasn't explain in the movie.

Overall, I love this movie but still, Nasi Lemak 2.0 is giving more impact in my honest opinion. Anyway, go catch this in cinema and try to support local production :)
