A day out for Strobist
Things I fear to shoot most, model. Second, indoor. And tadaaa... I has these combos to shoot on last month. Nah just kidding. I know I suck in shooting model because I forever will never know how to pose them up. Secondly, I suck at composing interior especially it is not designed the way I want in my mind. Nevertheless, Tokyo Pastry are generous enough to allowed us use their place to shoot. As much as I suck at shooting model, for me, I made up my mind that the main purpose of this shooting session was to practice strobist. It has been decade since I shoot with more than a flash setup.

Burger Bakar Abang Burn @ Kota Damansara
Since the last Burger Bakar Kaw Kaw, it seem alot places to started have "Burger Bakar" signature. One of them will be this, Burger Bakar Abang Burn that located near my office, Kota Damansara.

Decided to give it a try with my colleague when I stay back till late night. The stall located in a food court, behind Starbucks Kota Damansara. Not really crowded like Kaw Kaw Burger.

The waiting time not long too, well not surprise since Kaw Kaw Burger too seem improving their preparing time. We got our burgers in less than 10 minutes.

I ordered Burger Kahwin, where mixture of both chicken and beef. I saw they have lamb too in the menu. Perhaps I should give it a try someday though it is more expensive compare with others.

Both beef patty and Chicken meat not thick and big. It is abit smaller to compare with Kaw KAw Burger that I had before.
After tried both beef and chicken, I can safely say the beef is great. Too bad the chicken doesn't really up to my expectation. Kaw Kaw Burger Chicken still taste better.

Sukiya @ Kota Damansara

Just few weeks ago, a new restaurant just opened near my work place. Feeling curious and since it is Japanese food, I brought along Betina to tried it out last week. So, here we are, Sukiya that located at Kota Damansara, right opposite Sunway Giza. They claim to be 2nd Sukiya in Malaysia. Where is the first one? Suki-Ya from Pavilion Tokyo street?

To my surprise the shop seem like packed and the style is fast food style. Yea, self service, self order. Pretty disappointed with the workers there since they cant understand my English or Malay when I requested some enquiries from them.

The bowl display to show various size seem disappointed. The difference prize is almost double but the amount doesnt seem much difference ;/ Nevertheless,I still take the large one just in case I scare I wont feel full.

* Herb Cheese Gyudon (L) RM15.20 *

* Salad set *

* Miso Soup *
I go ahead and grab the Herb Cheese Gyudon with the set salad (get to choose which set + a drink) + Miso Soup. The set is addition actually that cost RM5. Dont feel worth the value for me. Anyway, the beef they used is from aussie. Overall the rice is completely full with beef and I bet beef lover love it. Personally I feel just alright but not the best I ever had. The Ishiyaki Beef Pepper Rice from Watami still the best beef rice I ever had.

* Teriyaki Chicken Mayo Rice (L) RM11.90 *

* Kara-ague set *
Le Betina ordered Teriyaki Chicken Mayo Rice and another set of Kara-ague + Miso soup which cost RM6. Again, the 3 pieces of small ajinamoto chicken is so expensive ;/ might as well buy a big size from Pasar Malam. Tried her chicken and rice for a bit. Nothing to shout about. It just taste alright again and my beef rice taste heavier.
Total cost for the bill that night is RM38.10. Overall, not really a worth dining value for me since with the same price I can dine in at much better japanese restaurant. Plus the environment is noisy with everyone chit chatting as in I am in pasar. Beat the dining leisure purpose.

My Honeymoon Dessert Food Review
I attended this food review together with others blogger on last 2 weeks. I bet most of u sure heard of My Honeymoon Dessert b4, it is Hong Kong based dessert ;) It had outlet at Kepong, One U, Puchong IOI, Sunway Pyramid, Dataran Sunway & of coz, Kota Damansara ;) We went to Kota Damansara for the review session, located right beside Snowflake.

My first impression on their environment was good. It is quite wide, comfy and suitable for chit chatting obviously ;) unlike snowflake, pack and noisy. Anyway, here are those dessert that tested by me on that day itself. Total 9 dessert yo!

* Durian Pancake. Obviously with Durian filled inside duh! RM9 *

* Mango Pancake. Mango fill inside :P RM9 *

* Mango Cream with Pamelo and Sago. It is sweet and sour combination ;) RM12 *

* Sweet Ball Coated with Crushed Peanuts RM7 *

* Tentalising Indulgence. 10 sweet balls, 5 flavous inside! Peanut, Sesame, Custard, Taro & Green tea! RM10 *

* Mango Special Maruko RM13 *

* Love this most! Mellow Fellow Pastry RM16 *

* Ginger juice with Milk. The ginger is pretty heavy taste RM8 *

* Adzuki Love. Made by red bean ;) RM10 *
I would said each dessert got their own specialty. And i am amazed most of their dessert actually handmade. what make me most happy would be their Durian style dessert! yes i am a durian lover ;P One of my favourite would be Mellow Fellow Pastry :D It is very unique bcoz each layer had filling and an ice-cream as topping on top. Other than tat their Tentalising Indulgence are recommended as well with ginger as their soup. Besides, most of their Mango are imported from Philippine, it taste nice though :D
Some pics with friends

* All of us *

* Oh yes Gplus is cool ones ;) *

Overall, their dessert are satisfying. No regret giving it a try ;)
