Kaw Kaw Burger @ Wangsa Maju Third Revisit - Challenging 8 Towers

Apparently Kaw Kaw Burger manage to make a hit and appear on Star newspaper 2 days ago. I guess media really does very very very critical high damage to them. I pass by their store this 2 days ago and they did not open..Apparently they upgrading their stall. Well, hope the service upgraded as well. More BBQ equipment!!

Nevertheless, I went to Kaw Kaw again last week together with my colleagues. One of my colleague wanted to challenge 8 piece of beef. Ok i guess that amount not enuf to enter hall of fame but, he still gonna challenge it anyway ;P

 

Waited at BRJ while waiting the burger to be ready on 1.5 hours. Pretty fast if you asked me. Newspaper wrote average time 3 hours..why? I guess it was d tactic to make people feel curious to try it then ended up they just waited for around 2 hours and then "oh? 2 hour nia! Faster than 3 hour"..or the customer who waited for 3 hours are pure idiot who waited since 5pm LOL

So, this is what u get for 8 pieces of Man VS Food burger. Meat are thick, pure meat for monster eater. My colleague has become famous around that night with everyone looking at him with UNBELIEVABLE facial.

 

And of course, my colleague enjoyed eating it while watching movie at BRJ.

After 30 min this is what he became....

 

Do note that most of my colleague are monster giant crazy eater yet, he cant finish 8 piece of meat. He only manage to eat 5 pieces and wave white flag. So moral of the story, starve yourself crazily for a day or 2 before you wanna challenge Kaw Kaw Burger towers.

Of course, i will be back to eat kaw Kaw burger, after 12am which i found out that it only takes 10-15 minutes to be served. It happens when few days back i yumcha with Ken on midnight and he only waited for 10 minutes for his burger. Awesome shit!

Kaw Kaw Burger @ Wangsa Maju Second Revisit

Just had a very sinful dinner with Betina. Yes, we went to had Kaw Kaw Burger, my second attempt. Since the first time i went i tried the Crispy Chicken Burger, this time around i gave a try on Beef Burger ala carte, triple of course ;P while Betina ordered Double Crispy Chicken Burger Set.

Apparently they change the system. We need to queue to get number and wait the waiter to come and order from us. I feel it kinda neat but in the same time is creating queue as well. In addition, i have no idea what time the stall opened since me and Betina actually reach there on 7pm, hoping not much people around and we don't need to wait so long. But apparently it proved us wrong, the queue is much longer than the first time I came here actually...Mother of God...

Waited for almost one hour to get our ordered. The waiter distributed the number first but not taking order. My guess is he only started to take order in a batch. Not to mention, the waiter is actually kinda friendly and polite.

While waiting our food to be done and ready in an hour times, I actually discussing with Betina how much would they earn per night doing such business. Her guess was at least RM20k/night. Same question goes to my colleague when we having lunch on last week and they said at least RM10k/night. Well, i believe yes around 10-20k range. They really do deserved it if they maintain the qualities from time to time.

 

The guy who cooking the burger is quite friendly as well. He saw me shooting from far and he invite me to come closer for a better shot. He also asked am I a blogger. Well, guess world do realize people with camera nowdays must be blogger. Or as Betina said, if you are not blogger but once you have camera, you wanna be blogger too. I don't know whether i should agree with her statement or not.

This time around beside tried the beef burger, we didn't take away. We ate at there. The presentation for both burger look better than d first time when I take away back home. Yummeh! Now for the Set, it came with burger, sausage and a drink of your choices.

The beef patty is very thick. At least thicker than Burger King & Mc Donald if you wanna compare. Each of the beef patty was showered with cheese and mayonnaise. Honestly, don;t feel the strong cheese taste, which i actually prefer and appreciated it if they can improve on this. Like the previous burger i had, the lowest layer, bread is oversauce with chilli. Some might don't like it or take it.

Asked Betina opinion, she said yes she love the Crispy Chicken very much. But she wouldn't wanna queue for the second time. I guess it is about curiosity. Maybe you wouldn't wanna try again after u have tested both beef and chicken unless, you really too free and willing to queue for it.

Ok i got a sinful night. Guess if I smash badminton for one whole week also not enough to burn it our..damn!

Kaw Kaw Burger @ Wangsa Maju

I am craving for this burger since that day i saw toufulou post! Being stay at this area since I was born, i din realize this shop was recently opened opposite BRJ.

Well, if you are new to Wangsa Maju, don't worry. Just head to BRJ nearby and when u see alot ppl queueing waiting and ordering, yupz, that's the Kaw Kaw Burger stall. Craving for it over 2 weeks, finally I get the chance to taste it together with Ken on last Sunday night.

They started to take order on 7.45pm and one of my source report to me that before they opened, estimated 20++ people already start building up the queue. WOW CRAZY!! They sell mainly beef and chicken. I din tried the beef but their chicken wasn't made by patty! Is as a real deal chicken meat! woopz! They even have set for the meal where it came with drinks and fries which I believe already been replaced with sausage.

Ken ordered the Beef burger happiness (ala carte) while I took the challenge and ordered the Triple H Crispy Chicken Burger (ala carte). Took our number, 94. When we asked what's they current number and the waiter told us is 30+...wooo!! 60+ more numbers to go. Thanks God BRJ is nearby, we went to yumcha while watching badminton match.

If you want to know, we actually wait for 1.5 hours for our burger to be ready. So yea, 1.5 hours for a damn burger.

But, I dare to put bet that the burger really taste good! The crispy chicken burger close to Mc D Chicken Spicy Mc Deluxe, but difference taste, not as crispy as that also. Presentation wise look sucks, maybe because I take away?

It would be nice too if each burger size, thickness all same and consistence. It make the presentation look much better. Worth to wait so long for this burger? Well I don't know. Is totally up to you to judge it.

Just be warn when you decided to order this burger, everything will be kaw kaw.
