Olympus 45mm still going on strongly

* Three of the kind *

I almost forgot I have the 45mm with me. Been using alot 75mm and also the 40-150mm f2.8 lately that I actually started to neglect my Olympus 45mm. This morning having a quick shooting session with Robin & friends at Chow Kit market and is a great time for me to take out 45mm again and shoot. Together with Olympus OM-D E-M1 as a part of my main shooter, I also brought along E-PL 7, 9mm f8 blc and also Tamron Adaptall-2 SP 90mm f/2.5. Yes, the Tamron that I rarely used nor mention here before it since wasn't under my possession. I accidentally brought it home last night LOL

45mm is still an amazing lens for me. It has some sentimental value to me as well because it is one of my combo Olympus prime lenses. The 45mm and 12mm become my core lens whenever I am attending event to shoot. It is small, compact, easily fit in pocket (but pls don't try this :P) and cheap! I do admit I am tempting with all the latest prime offering but again, for me, I found a comfort zone in shooting with 45mm. 17 or 25mm would be ideal for group shot but I prefer something wider, hence 12mm do the job!

My only complain is I don't have a black color version of 45mm! It doesn't match with my black E-M1 but perfect for my E-PL7.. pifff Other than that, nothing much I could complain for the 45mm. Fast auto focus, acceptable sharpness and also smooth bokeh rendering.

As usual, C&C are welcome!
